I noticed that during my Rahu MD I was much more conservative (particularly from around 2004 to 2010) and once I entered Jupiter MD I became more liberal. Even in Rahu MD I had become a vegetarian (from 2006 onwards) and although I would often have cravings for meat, it began to increase more and more at the very end of Rahu MD and even more so into Jupiter MD (I finally succumbed to those cravings and began eating meat again in the end part of 2010). In 2006 I had also stopped drinking alcohol but once I entered Jupiter MD I again began that too (just socially). Certain beliefs/attitudes of mine also became more liberal.

It just seems very strange to me because normally, Jupiter is a planet of tradition and Rahu is a planet of the unusual or deviance. But it seems to have worked opposite in my case. I'm just wondering the reason for this. I have tried researching this online but have not found anything which explains it which makes me think it is a more specific thing to my chart. If anyone here can offer some insight i would really appreciate it.

My details:

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Psha,

Rahu could have behaved like saturn who is more conventional and a very strict disciplinarian and jupiter though conventional is generally more liberal. He is not the hard task master kind of planet. So you have a tendency to let yourself a bit loose in jupiter periods. Wait for saturn period and you will feel the difference.

Ahh, that makes sense. I had not considered it behaving like Saturn. Thanks for your reply!
