Saturn Mahadasa

Hi All,
Saturn Mahadasa started for me this week. I was just wondering how this dasa going to be for me. For next 2.5 years or so I am completely under the influence of Saturn. Saturn/Saturn dasa and Sade sati. My JUP/Rahu was not good at all. Specially last three months was more worst, all prospective jobs/ offers slipped from my hands for various reasons.
My question is when can I expect to get job?

I request to all members of this forum to share their experience :
Saturn Mahadasa (as Yogakaraka for Taurus Lagna) and 4th in sequence of mahadasas

Your Saturn is good in Lagna chart and generally it should give you a good effect. Its transit into Libra may cause you to fight over enemies and conflicts before you win over hem. Otherwise, Saturn will bring new opportunities for you. Jupiter's aspect on Saturn makes it benefic.

Its transit into Scorpio in the last phase of Sadhe Sati may be troublesome for family matters.

The reason behind your Jupiter-Rahu going bad was that your Rahu afflicts a lot of planets in 6th house. In Gochar (transit), it occupies 7th house of partnerships and Mars too has been malefic for you for quite some time. In Lagna chart too Mars is malefic in 2nd house of family and wealth.

Another problem for you is that Lagna lord Venus is in transition zone at more than 29 degrees and Mercury the lord of 2nd and 5th houses is also in transition zone at 0.33 degree. Both of them are in weak position.

Recite Hanuman Chalisa, lighting til oil lamp in Western direction, Lakshmi Narasimha Stotra by Adi Shankaracharya and Shrisuktam from Rig Veda (these not in West) daily. Also recite Aditya Hridaya Stotram and offer water to the Sun in the morning daily. Pray to Goddess Durga daily, lighting ghee or lemon lamps whichever convenient.

Do regular charity to poor, orphans, handicapped and menial workers. Feed bread and water to crows daily.

Saindhavi, in my chart Venus and Mercury are weak, Rahu afflicts Sun, moon and mercury, Jupiter owns 8th & 11th house which is not good and Mars has no positive effect. Only Saturn is benefic planet in my chart.
Sun owns 4th house and mercury 2 and 5 houses in my chart, but they are with rahu.

"In Gochar (transit) Weak rahu is always beneficial in my chart" Is it a correct interpretation

I don't think I said that. Someone else might have said it.

No, I don't think so. For example, Rahu in your Taurus Lagna in Gochar will be benefic for you and hence, should be strong. If it is weak in Lagna in Gochar, it will create problems for you.

Your Jupiter is good because of its placement and aspects on 7th and on Saturn.

Do the remedies and all should be well.

Hi Saidhavi ji.. Like Navin ji I am also running Saturn MD/Saturn AD and Sade sati. Just ended my Jup/Rahu dasha and it has been tormenting .. had marital problems and now pending divorce in court.

can you pls guide me how the the saturn MD will be for me.

Saturn is good in your chart and Saturn Mahadasha should be generally good. It should give you good fotune and clear all your problems. You are likely to do well in life for the 19 years of Saturn Mahadasha.

However, its Gochar will have its effect as well. Currently, Saturn in Libra exalted in your 6th house should give you a stable profession and should connect you to work for the masses. It should help you to conquer over your enemies. There may be some health problems as well, related to bones and legs.

According to my Lahiri software, your Saturn Mahadasha started on 6th March 2005. Your Jupiter-Rahu Dasha ran from 12th Oct 2002 to 6th March 2005. Your balance of Moon Mahadasha at birth was 4 yrs, 9 months and 8 days.

Currently, you are running Saturn-Ketu, which will finish on 27th of December 2011.

Your problems are mainly because of Saturn-Ketu Dasha and also because of Gochar of Rahu-Ketu axis and of Saturn.

Saturn is mainly good in your chart and overall it shouldn't be too bad for you. It should give you benefic partnerships, financial gains, happiness in family and stability in wealth. Of course, this will be modified by the Dasha running and the Gochar effects.

As I said, your Saturn-Ketu will finish in December and after that, Saturn-Venus should be better and Saturn-Sun will be good for you.

Two years ago, Saturn had transited into Virgo, being 8h from Lagna in your chart, adversely influencing your 10th house of career and 2nd house of family and wealth. Dear members,

in addition to all that has been said in this discussion, may I add that good or bad effects during Saturn maha dashas and transits (e.g. sade sati) largely depend upon our ability to accept the lessons of Shani, which are lessons of patience.

Nobody has patience nowadays. We live in a multi-tasking, top-speed society, and we all want good results immediately in any venture. Saturn invites us not to focus on the fruits of our actions but on our actions themselves, patiently and with maximum dedication and discipline. Results will come naturally, but slowly.

I am also quite eager to find out how to approach Saturn mahadasha. Seems like Saturn is absolutely awful in my charts. Would really appreciate some ideas/readings and suggestions on what I should be expecting and what I should do from now to prepare for it in 3 years.

Saturn is shifted to 9th house in Bhava chart . So you will experience the effects of 9th house.

The other half of Saturn Maha Dasha should be average to above average.

My Saturn Mahadasha with Saturn Antardasha started in November 2011. Since then I have had so many problems that I feel I just can't take it any more. My marriage (divorce), career, money, parent's health, relationship within family and friends everything has gone wrong. Is their worse to come or is it over?

Saturn is good in the chart . But in bhava chart , Mars Moves from Lagna to 12th house. And it creates problems as Shani and Mars are enemies.

Pray lord Shiva to pacify Shani .
