saturn for taurus ascendants is a yog karak and exalted mars in the 9th is also very nice(saturn is never debilitated for taureans)....so effects can never be detrimental...saturn in 7th might delay marriage, i feel....

ask the more learned...

Thanks VPN for ur view,

Some say Saturn in 7th will affect ur profession, because saturn is owner of 10 th house.moreover My 10 th house is occupied by Jupiter.

How far is this true?

Learned astrolgers pls clarify

I have a parivarthana yoga on my Raasi Chart between 7th and 9th postion, for Taurus ascendent,i.e., inbetween Saturn and exalted Mars.I read in one of the books, that a exchange between Mars and Saturn will not yield good results.

Can any one clarify this?

I have one more question, is the exchange between 2 debilated planets give good results?

Thank you
Phaladeepika - which to my knowledge gives the most thorough treatment describing and defining Parivartana Yoga - does not say anything about the planets causing the yoga affecting the outcome (of course unless it has escaped my attention and study.) It is the houses involved. The circuit ("parivartana") is formed between the houses, not between the planets. That, to me, seems to be Mantreshwar's instruction.

Anything in the 7th house affects your profession because the 7th is the house of commercial transactions.

Dear Vic,

So Do u say the houses involved in the exchange are the main concern, then the yoga between 7th and 9th house with exalted Mars in 9th for Taurus, is good formy profession or business?

yes - it should be good for morality, religiousity, doing good to others, being moral in relationships with women, and being able to relate in a positive manner with others. the last point should impact on your ability to have positive business transactions as well... no?

Dear Vic DiCara,

Do you interpret Parivartana yogas only from the Lagna or also from the moon? Let's say if someone has a Dainya yog from Lagna but becomes a Raja Yog from the Moon, what does that mean? Or vice-versa?
I'm asking because I have a parivartana between 11th and 12th from Lagna, which happens to be a parivartana between 9th and 10th from Moon.

Many thanks,

Dear Anxiuos

pl. read the article no.12 " Venus Williams's Big Comeback(free)" under articles archives(Astro-Profiles of Celebrities) on this site of light on vedic astrology . which is a very good article written by Hon.
shri Vaughn Paul .which says rajyogas are still possible from Moon Lagna & Alternate Lagna

Dear Chavitarum,

I understand that you can look at planets both from Lagna and Moon, but I am wondering what would be the different effects. I mean, Lagna represents the physical realm, whereas the Moon represents more the mind, so how would such parivartana be expressed? Say, negative yoga from Moon, but positive from Lagna, or negative from lagna but positive from moon.
In my case, I infer ups and downs in income/expenses (physical realm), but willingness to work righteously (in the mind)... I don't know, could anyone elaborate?

Thanks

RAAJA-YOGAS are to be assessed from the Moon and Lagna. I am not sure if this is classical or not. I picked it up from Heart de Fouw and it works well. The principle I use is that if the Raja yoga exists from the lagna, AND also from the chandra lagna - it is much more powerful.

Parivartana yogas, I have not heard explained that way. The problem of going too deeply into interpreting any one yoga is that it gives you blinders and you lose sight of the whole rest of the chart. My feeling is that you get a better reading of the chart by skimming everything and balancing all the factors, rather than drilling into interpreting the daylights out of any single factor.

Sir
pl. let me know the effect of parivartan yoga in following chart ;as there are two exchanges

D.O.B. 30.7.1989, female 17.20PM , Beawar(Raj.) Marriage when and marital life and status of husband
native has Saturn in Lagna
Rahu in third
Jupiter ,moon in 7th house
Sun Mercury in 8th house
Venus, ketu & mars in 9th house

(Lord of 7th in 8th and lord of 9th in 8th,also in 7th gajkesari yoga and in 8th budhatiya yoga

what is the result of Budhatitya yoga for Sagitarius Ascendant(Dhanu lagna) in 8th house and Gajkesari yoga in 7th house . As lord of 9th in 8th and lord of 7th in 8th house .and there is also exchange of lord of 7th house and 8th house. Will it creat trouble for married life or good because it has created 2 yogas ?

Dear Vic DiCara,

Actually by Raj Yog, I meant the parivartana between the 9th and 10th Lords. I know one should look at the whole chart instead of focusing on couple of houses, but most of the planets are clustered in these two houses in my natal chart. Both lords of Scorpio, are in Dhanu and Jupiter is in Scorpio.

Here are my details, if you could please help me understand:

DOB: 27 November 1982
TOB: 10:50am
Time difference: GMT+3
POB: 18.55 South 47.31 East (Antananarivo, Madagascar)

Mr. Vic,

You're almost replying to all threads and i'd greatly appreciate if you would revert to mine as well.

I have a parivartan between lords of the 4th and the 9th&10th,i.e. sun n saturn. Can you please please shed some light on this?

Further, i also have rahu+sat in my fourth house, sun's. I know this query doesn't pertain to this thread, but i'd really request you to answer to this one too.

Many thanks in anticipation
Vpn.

I just reply to whatever grabs my interest, whenever I have time to have my interest grabbed, or need a break from my interest being aborbed by other things. I only respond to personal queries directly via the readings on this pagehttp://www.vicdicara.com/readings.php

Regarding your parivartana, firstly it doesn't matter if it is the lord of 9th and 10th, what matters most is what house that planet is in. A parivartana is between TWO houses.

Hi All,

Do I have a parivartana Yog in my birth chart?

Aries ascendent, Jupiter exalted in cancer (4th house), Moon is in Sagittarius (9th house).

If so then when it will give me some fruits. Currently Rahu-Ketu dasha is going on, Rahu dasha being very tough for me since started in all aspects of life.. I think Jupiter dasha might be good for me.

Please suggest.

Dear msrhprasad,
I don't believe you have any parivartana in your Rasi. You have some very good placements in Rasi namely, Sa as yogakaraka in Lagna is wonderful. He has the aspect of Ra but otherwise free. He will give results of both 9th and 10th Lords in Lagna. Lagnadhipathi Sukra is exalted in 11th house again unaspected is a great placement. Guru as the 8th Lord in his own house gives great health and if other factors are well set, a long life too. He also has no aspects. 12th Lord Mars in his own house is not a bad placement overall.

Budha and Surya do give a Rajayoga (4th and 5th Lords conjucting in the 10 house) is very welcome. This is not parivartana as they are conjucting in Sa's house. Sa being a benefic for Thula Rasi is not a bad aspect. Moon is afflicted though in his own house and being 12th from the 4th house might give worries quite a bit.

Regards,
Venkat.
