I have a question ...

Is Rahu alwayz bad in the 7th House ?? I have Rahu in the 7th house (Capricorn Adc.) and I have been told that it will result in an extremely bad married life ....

Good analysis on Ayushi's chart. A very quick look at the chart & may I add a few points, if you dont mind?
1. Kumbh, more than Makara is a good place for Rahu.
2. though Budh who is with Shukr is deb in Rasi, exalted in Navamsa!
3. The presence of Surya in 8H needs consideration. Its correct that he aspects 2H, but one cant ignore the placement.
4. Notice that both Sani and Rahu are in Uttarashada Nk, owned by SUN. As you may be knowing, the symbol for US is a male mongoose that does not have a female counterpart. Its considered bad for a male native, btut may not be completely ir-relevant for a female native. Typically, the Nks are seen for Moon or Lagna, but we're seeing here for the planets posited in 7H - because it is well populated!

Yes, you are right that Nakshatras are also important and a deeper look into them may suggest troubles during Rahu-Sun, especially because Rahu and Sun are adverse to each other.

You are also right that Rahu would have been even more benefic in Aquarius than it is in Capricorn in 7th house and that Sun's placement in 8th house is important too. But perhaps because the 9th and 5th houses are good and Jupiter is exalted in the Ascendant, the native should be able to tide over these troubles with much less difficulty than what most people suffer under Rahu Mahadasha ie, Rahu is much less problematic for this native than in most cases. What do you feel about it?

But I definitely agree with your points that they are important and thank you for suggesting them. What do you feel about the other chart I contributed above?

In a birth chart, the effects caused by Rahu and Ketu will be seen from the below
1. the houses that Rahu and Ketu occupy?
2. the houses of their (sign)dispositors?
3. the nature of the planet that conjuncts Rahu and Ketu and the houses ruled by the planet that conjuncts Rahu or Ketu?
4. the nakshatra dispositor of Rahu or Ketu?

The details mentioned by you does not talk about the Nk dispositor. Can you please post the birth details of the native?

In mid 2009 you were running Rahu-Ketu-Rahu period. Rahu and Ketu aspect your Ascendant in an adverse sign, hence it may cause brain-related health problems.

However, your Rahu and Ketu are at a low degree at 1.36' and your ascendant is protected by Jupiter.

On 9th August 2011, ie, 2 days back, your Rahu-Venus-Rahu period got finished and you are running Rahu-Venus-Jupiter period now, which will continue till 3rd Jan 2012. Hence, your health problems should be resolved during this period. Surgery should be successful, if needed.

This experience also suggests your Rahu may cause health problems for you even in Rahu-Sun period.

Perhaps Mahamrityunjaya Mantra followed by a prayer to the Goddess will be good for you.

You can try to go abroad after you recover from illness - either for study or for work.

and when can i go abroad and settle there?? Presently i am in ca final year....n after that thinking of doing MBA..but lets see what i have on my cards...and i really want a high profile career and business but dse health problems are creating hurdles for me...

You should not get discouraged. Get yourself treated as soon as possible and prepare to study abroad. Find out the universities which have programmes of your choice, apply and prepare and leave when you get admission.

Don't waste your time on astrology, because you have to see how soon you can get the treatment and you have to spend a lot of time applying and preparing for your foreign study.

Perhaps you know that foreign universities don't give a full scholarship for MBA study. You have to spend time looking for a university that will give you good funding and you have to see where you can get the rest of the funding from.

One of the side-effects of Rahu is that the person gets distracted from one's main goal and gets involved in astrology etc. and I can see this happening with you. You should not get distracted and concentrate on your main goal of going abroad and getting yourself treated.

Your Rahu-Sun period will run from 30th Jan 2013 to 24th Dec 2013.

Keep on reciting the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (108 times) and the Goddess prayer everyday, or ask your parents to get a proper mantra jap done by a good Pandit. With God's blessings, your Rahu-Sun period will not have too much of trouble.

from the above discussions i understand that rahu can wreck havoc in the life of the person. but what happens when exalted rahu sits with mercury in seventh house of navamsa. venus is with exalted ketu in lagna of D-9.

Basically I think Rahu in the 7th house will not give a Happy married life. There will be a disturbed married life with the husband. No cordial relations with husband. Below is a chart of a lady who is known to me with birth details as below :

1st May 1955, Time - 10.05 am Place is Pune.
She is married . Have children. Even though having 4 children. Maritial relations are not gud at all. on listening her I sometimes feel how has this marriage sustained till date. May be I doubt it may be just becoz of the Jupiter aspect on the 7th house has saved the marriage. But staying under the same roof even though together they have been like divorced since long years not legally. Since has gone through all the pain which one cant imagine too. And still she is going through all the pain being in this maritial relation just becoz she is staying with the husband and children in the same house. She never had any type of happy lovlinng momments in her life. God only knows how long she has to struggle with this kind of life.

In this case, it is not just Rahu being in 7H. There are a host of other factors at play here.
1. Rahu AND Moon are both in Nakshatras of isolation
2. Mars in 12H, aspecting Moon.
3.Lagna being in Ardra Nakshatra - representing tears caused by pain
4. Sani aspecting 7H
5. 7L being with Ketu
8. Venus, Lagnesh Merc and Ketu all are in Navamsa of Scorpio owned by Mars.

I personally know couples that where one spouse has Rahu in 7H and their marriages are flourishing. Its never a single thing that causes such strain - there are usually a multiplicity of factors that cause a bad situation.

But you are right, Jupiter [ and to some extent, Sani ] has been able to sustain this marriage inspite of all the odds.

Actually I am not an astrology person. but just trying to understand the bitterness of life and the games played by the planets in human life.
What will u say for this particular chart which is undergoing Rahu MD till 2017. Will it show its effect on the planet placed in the 7th house.

Do u think will she have a peacefull life any time. Not love from husband or respect. That she wont get at all I think ever in life. But atleast the old age in peace.
