RUTHU JATHAKA : SOME INSIGHTS

Dear All

Some anxious parents send me the ruthu jathaka of their children and ask me about longevity and date of marriage etc. I have started a thread just to share a few important points about this Ruthu Jathaka.

Horoscope is usually cast by the birth time of a child and predictions are based on the planetary positions in their natal chart. But for a girl, the predictions are done mostly by looking at their Ruthu chart otherwise called as Ruthu jathaka.

Puberty or First Menses is a physical change in the constitution of a girl. The girl is said to have attained Ruthu when she gets her first menses. Ruthu chart is cast based on the planetary positions during her first menses.

Life of a girl changes completely after her puberty. She gets all kind of feminine qualities only after Ruthu. She looks at the world and people around her with a different mentality. Apart from the physical changes there are a lot of psychological ones which have a bearing in the moulding of one's personality after Ruthu.

Birth chart of a girl reveals entire destiny of the women. Ruthu chart reveals only about the marital life, children, happiness, longevity of husband, conjugal bliss and the character of the native.

Ruthu chart can reveal very well about the marital life of a girl better than the birth chart (Though this particular point is widely debated both ways). After the Ruthu chart is cast, prediction from an astrologer can be had only about her marital life, Kalathra dosha and Mangalya dosha if any. Any steps for marriage should be taken only after doing proper Remedies.

But this chart cannot be used for determining any karmic problems, assets etc. this chart stops working after menopause (end of menses) .

Due to the very nature of this first menses in many occasions it is difficult to cast a ruthu chart because one may not be aware of the exact time. It can happen even during sleep. So here I shall give the fruits of the First menses for every nakshatra pada which has a window of roughly 6 hours.

She will carry tales about others, Proud, wavering mind and will help people outside her family and may not care much about her own family.

Very loving by nature, good judge of character, beautiful, does good deeds and blessed with progeny

An excellent advisor, could suffer from piles in her middle age, believes and follows dharma

ASHWINI 4th PADA

Educated, famous, very good constitution, intelligent, truthful and passionate.

BHARANI 1st PADA

Fair complexion, Just, Gutsy, Rich, a bit lusty, may have reddish hairs in the body.

BHARANI 2nd PADA

Sensitive, Benevolent, Likes Puranas and shastras, Lazy but brilliant

BHARANI 3rd PADA

Angry, Round eyes, happy, good qualities, tall and helpful to others

BHARANI 4th PADA

Lean, angry, may work in govt., and terribly proud

KRITTIKA 1st PADA

Educated, Lives lavishly, Gains easily, health problems on and off, might excel in some art

KRITTIKA 2nd PADA

Hated by others, angry, comfortable with others than the family members

KRITTIKA 3rd PADA

Bad company but loves her husband, angry, cannot keep up her words, tricky and may inflict injury on others

KRITTIKA 4th PADA

Impatient, Sick, worrying nature, with very less education
