Hi.
Respected Astrologers & Learned Members ,
Jupiter in 1st house (debilitated) gives worries, headache, unstable mind , dissatisfaction , confusion ,mental worries etc.........
Jupiter is situated in 1st house + Saturn's 3rd aspect on it , consider good or bad ?

Not really.
Yes Jupiter is a dusthana lord in the lagna - but a debilitated one - weaker one.
Such a Jupiter will make one very charitable, magnanimous, mature beyond his or her age etc.,
The conditions you mentioned are more aligned with Rahu-Ketu influence on Moon.
Shrikanth
it is generally said a dusthana lord should be weak , so not to harm any house where it is posited.
whether lord of dusthana should be strong or weak, there are two versions , some say otherwise
pl. enlighten

A close aspect of Saturn (use JHORA Planetary Aspect Evaluation) on Moon can cause a sluggishness or dullness in your thinking, mental worries, mind can get tired very easily.

Dear Shrikantji,
Just so that I understand the difference between the two lines posted below-
a weak dusthan lord if debiliated in kendra/kona is better, as it becomes weak.
However, if the same is aspected by another malefic or a planet which is not its friend (compound relationship), it becomes afflicted, then it creates greater havoc.
Did I understand the below right? Affliction and weak are two different things?
Thanks for all your help on the forum!

Dear chavitarun,
Yes dusthanas weakened are often softened up and hence less potent is causing troubles.
On the same token weak but afflicted dusthana is more potent is causing serious troubles.

Dear Shrikantji,
I'm a bit confused. Since the OP hasn't posted birth details or mentioned which house Ju owns, I was confused. Are you saying Ju is always bad in 1st house?
I used to believe Ju in 1st house is great because he aspects 5 7 and 9 (and 1) with positive effects. Is this not correct?

I have heard that Jupiter is a great malefic for capricorn lagna, is the same also true for kumbh lagna? Does a deblitated jupiter makes a native dissrespects religions?
