There in no such condition as Rahu or Ketu being in ascendant . If eitherof these isthere , besides the other results depending upon the strength or sign occupied ,one effect in general is that either Rahu or Ketu in
ascendant induces unconventionality in the nature or behaviour of the person concerened and one does not have regards for social norms or practices andthat is one of the reasons why unconventional and love marriage is very common insuch cases ,

Some astrologers told that when the 1/7 or 2/8 Rahu / ketu is present in both girl and boys horoscope the dosha gets cancelled and we can get them married, if it is not present in any one of the girl or boys charts the marriage will face many problems? thats why we are now selecting girls horoscope based on this. Can we proceed with normal horoscopes of girls without this 1/7 or 2/8 rahu ketu being present? please help on this Dahiya
