Sukra eclipse in june 2012.

Hello.
I'm a novice in Jyotish astrology. Like many others I have heard about the Mayan calendar that will end the 21 of December 2012.
Therefore I have been searching for info concerning the Sukra eclipse that will occur in june 2012.
Seems like the ancient Mayan civilization long time ago was placing a great importance on this eclipse.
After what I heard Sukra eclipses are rare and when they occur some bad things have happened.

What I wonder is if this transit / eclipse is of no interest for Jyotish astrologer point of view!?
Have not found anywhere comments from Jyotish astrologers concerning this event!

What will Sukra affect in peoples life during an eclipse?

Anyone that can shed some light on this?

Very true that Shukra eclipse are few and rare so we should expect some catastrophic event in some part of the world but certainly not the end of the world.

Actually the day is 12-12-12.The probable indications of some sort of disaster in the N-W of Bharat where people and soldiers get involved with poisonous weapons . Oil/land sources become scare and the rulers face misery.Does that indicate any war within Pak,Afghanistan and Iran ?
This is what Rahu does by eclipsing the Ve,Me,Mo,Su in Vrischika .Sages said so.
My suggestions are for +ve guidance.Divine blessings are ultimate.
