Having discovered that my mother is under the influence of black magic afflicting the entire family as mentioned by RV Ramananjee at http://www.lightonvedicastrology.com/ph ... 22&t=10367 and the lack of information on the forum or elsewhere on the internet about the same I've started this thread.
How is the influence of abhichara considered? In layman's terms I'd consider it to be similar to hiring a bunch of goons to beat you up, you end up in hospital on life support machines, you recover but your internal organs may not be the same ever again.
How does the influence last so long? I'm presuming the black magic was done years back, but does the curse renew with planetary movements, gochars, grahans etc?
How can you pin-point the non-movement in life on black magic itself? There can be the presences of other doshas or bad planetary configurations in your chart. In todays age with the presence of scammy astrologers, they just blame the negative influences on your chart on Kal Sarpa/Black Magic/abundance of other doshas/Sade Sati/Shani/Rahu-Ketu/Gulika-Mandi etc
Also, since it is evident from my mother's chart that black magic has been done, so she was pre-destined(sanchita karma) to be under the influence of it? If she was pre-destined what is the use of doing a parihara(dridha adridha karma)? Free will to avoid it would not be useful(Kriyamana karma)?
Are there any books that you can recommend about the same?
