The native below is having serious problems with the family who refuses his marriage to this girl. The girl is outside his caste though the family's real problem is that they do not think this girl is good looking enough for him. He has been seeing this girl for about 3 years (on and off), and he is aware of the difference of their looks but is really in love with her and wants to marry her but not without his family's approval.
He previously dated another girl but she left him because her family did not approve of him. That left him heart-broken.
When looking at his kundli, nothing shows any signs of problems in marriage, apart from the fact that the 7th lord is badakesh for him. Is that where the obstacles come from? Is his family likely to accept this girl eventually, or should he find some other solution? Even their compatibility isn't that great (Vishaka-Jyetesha), but he claims he really loves her and only wants her. Being once heart-broken before, it could be that he is unwilling to look for anyone else.
Thanks for your help,

Good day anxious ,
Some things worry me . The biggest worry is the strong Punarboo Dosha which is present in the chart. Shani and Chandra in the same rashi , Aspect of Shani on the lagna . Gulika and Maandi along with the Moon .......... Shani is exalted no doubt .......... But I am pessimistic of Shani's intentions . I wont be suprised if he drops the woman he intends to marry like a hot potato .

How does the punarboo dosha act? If the dosha is present in both charts, doesn't it cancel out? Any remedies?
Thanks
Thanks

The boy's details
DOB: 5 Feb 1983
TOB: 6:25am
POB: London, UK
Girl's details
DOB: 18 Oct 1985
TOB: 7:00am
POB: Ahmedabad, India
Thanks for your help,
1)the guy is on the unfortunate axis of 1-7 for Ket-Ra.
Unfortunate because Asc. denotes self and propelling self forward....and Ket denotes detachment with self.....which creates conflicting, unfortunate and even destructive situations outside of native's control,
At the same time Rahu in the 7th pulls the native in the other direction of materialism....puts tremendous strain on rekationships and marriage.....often problematic unless there are mitigating factors. let's see the rest of chart:
2)Lord of 7th is Me in a freindly house, a bit afflicted by Ket, but strong I would say and aspecting it's own 7th house.
3)Ve the karak of marriage is placed in a neutral house of Sat
In D9
4)L7 is Ve the karak for marriage and placed in freindly house of Saturn and 7th house is aspected by Jupiter.
5)While striking relations and sustaining them wil be problematic, when in marriage it will last well and long enouhg. There is enouhg positive support from Me, Ju and Venus to the houses of marriage ( so there is plenty of mitigation)
--He should most likely get married between May2012-Nov 2012.
If he liks the girls...let him go-ahead...if she is meant to be the right partner........the marraige will occur and married life will be as summarized in 5).

Hello Pocean,pocean wrote:Shilpaji,
No one has told me but based on all the posts about the punarboo dosha analysis above, i felt i may have it due to some planetary positions in my chart. I know a little bit of astrology but not a whole lot. So wanted to run this by the experts here. If you can let me know, i would be greatful.
Pocean
diffrent astrologers have a diffrent way of analysing the same horoscope.
In our astrological system there are a number of schools and varying techniques to examine the same cause.
answer 2 questions for me please:
1) Have you heard me talk about Punarbu Dosha in any of my posts?
2) Which member(s) have you heard talking about the Punarbu dosha on this forum?
regards

Thank you pocean for the clarification. You are right atsroboy may be using this term often...and I suggest you seek specific queries about this term with him.pocean wrote:Hi Shilpaji,
I'm not sure if I have heard you talking abt Punarboo dosha since I have read so many posts here on the forum so hard for me to link. But I see in this post where Astroboy above has talked about Punarboo dosha where Saturn and Moon are either by conjuction related or by aspect. I felt that my navamsha may fall into the later one. So wanted to ask and clarify so that I can better handle things, if i do have it.
Pocean
He is helpful and I am sure he will respond.
I personally stay away from labelling any planetary placements or Yogas as a DOSHA...because that's not how any of the ancient classics have defined any inauspicious placements.
In my understanding....the term DOSHA has appeared in more recent times, by astrologers having commercial intersts in pointing out dreadful sounding DOSHAS...to invoke fear.
Because once the fear of a DOSHA has set-in.....the rectification of DOSHA can be a well paid excercisse.
Shani and Chandra in association throuhg placements in charts or even in each other's Nakshatras can create confusions, dilemmas, even chaos......in the area of the chart they occur in. A conflict between hard-work/ slow bodily action ( that shani signifies) versus the flight of mind ( that Moon signies).
at the same time they may also be trivial...depnding on theor strengths and aspect of benefics...and the other postive pillars of the charts.
It is like one of 100s ( or thousands) of things that can cause problems to a native....but must be looked at in totality in the rasi and higher charts and the constellations also.
and like all those 100s of bad things, in isolation such assocation of shani and moon on it's own doesn't destroy the chart...as sometimes the terms DOSHA might signify in a larger than life way.
How it manifests in your chart...I will look at and advise on eitehr this or the other thread where you have posted your details

Dear anxious0-
On the basis of given birth particulars , the boy is destined to have some unconventional marriage ,which means may be a love marriage or intercaste or inter religion type,
The girl in question has also a setting for such affairs and marriage and his 7th lord being in12th house ,supports her getting married to some one in foreign or going abroad after marriage ,
There is no way of definitely sayingthat they will marry each other but
1)- in boththe charts Venus joins Mars ,which is not considered good , but beinginboththe chart , may neutralise the effect .
2)- Their Nakshetras of the boy is vishakah and that of girl Jaystha i.e 3rd one and not considered good ,.
3)- In both the chartSaturn joins Moon ,indicating more than one affairs /marriages/ marrying someone already married , in present context of open society , an affair may be as good as marriage .
4)- If Kundali Milan as convention is done , the girl being in3rd pad of Jayestha nad the boy in 3rd pada of Vishakha 3 pada, the table indicates a marginal score . But born ad girl being from different social back ground ,allthese excercises carries hardly nay meanings
In boys chart Ketu subperiod inmajor period of Mercury is stating after mid May and suits such marriages .
In the Chart of boy Neptune in ascendant makes him dreamy. imaginative, sensitive indecisive, nad in the habit of building castles in the air, and findsit difficult to organise self,.

Good day Pocean,
I first read the term Punarboo Dosha in the Magnum opus created by Hart De Fouw and Robert Svoboda . The book is titled " Light on relationships" . And believe me, it’s one of the best books I have read in my astrological lifetime. This is not a Yoga I picked off the street from some road side astrologer, who would say that the dosha exists, and then fleece them for some dough. This is a combination I picked up from an extremely well written Book by some of the best astrologers in the World. I personally put Dr Robert Svoboda above any author in the world. His two books "Light on life" and "Light on relationships" are a must have in every astrologers library.
Dr Robert Svoboda defines it thus " Punarboo, also spelt Punarbhu dosha indicates an association of the Moon with Saturn, either by conjunction or aspect . Punarbhu indicates a sudden out of the blue frequently in anticipated change of heart between two people planning to Marry. It is strong particularly in the horoscope of women. The Native does a 180 deg turn for no valid reason.
Why I hold this Dosha as an important dosha, worthy of study, is that I know of a girl who did not turn up at the wedding and the wedding had to be cancelled. I also know of a girl who got married and filed for divorce the next day. All in a space of 17 hours. No body knows to this day why she wanted out. And this after having a 2 year relationship with the Man. This yoga is for real and I have seen it work with deadly results in many charts. I have provided an example here.

Lagna is at 21 Deg 54 in Mesha. This woman is an Indian version of the runaway bride. 5 relationships spanning over 10 years, and she ditched them all at the last minute. Note the aspect of Shani on the Moon, also note Shani in the 7th and a debilitated Kuja in the 4th house. It is these confluences of factors that have made these women do a turnaround time and again.... and it’s not getting any better.
Note one important point. In the case of Punarboo Dosha, It is not the other person who does the dumping; it is the person who has the Punarboo dosha that does it. They convince themselves that this relationship is not their cup of tea and end up doing a sudden turn around. It is they, who start to find and pick faults in the other person. The very same qualities which attracted them towards the other, now becomes the reason to break the relationship. That is a Punarboo Dosha.
Coming to Yogas and Doshas, The problem with us astrologers on the internet is that we sit in front of a computer, in an Air conditioned room, with our bellies full, and think that the whole world is like ours. I am sorry to say that it is not the case. And what about our queriests?? They are also sitting in front of a lap top or computer ...... some checking this forum from a Black berry phone , and write what every comes to their mind . Is that the real world?? How many astrologers do we have on this forum that is competent enough to read a chart?? 40 or 50 Max. That’s it. I will show you 50 astrologers in Mangalore who can beat the frack out of us with just the Rashi and the Navamsha chart. Here we are, with the latest cutting edge software’s, and the best books..... And mostly crappy literature off the internet. We think we have read 20 books, and that crappy literature off the net.... and we are the kings on the subject. What is the population on the forum?? 1,00,000 max ?? India has a population of 1.3 Billion and counting. Are you telling me that out of the 1.3 Billion 1 Billion are F$%^&d because Doshas are a figment of a street side astrologers imagination to fleece some money off his gullible client?? I am not saying that every astrologer on the street is an embodiment of truth. For every one good astrologer ....... there are 10 bastards on the street. But do we denounce the entire lot in one sweep??
My Guru once told me..... After seeing a beggar fight next to the trash bin, with a Dog for a packet of food which was thrown in the trash Bin “You better learn the Arishta Yogas, the Doshas and the Raja Yoga Bhangas before you start talking about the 300 Raja Yogas that every horoscope has.†And having observed life even more closely ... after having started learning Jyotishya.... I am in full agreement with him. People who live outside India have perhaps forgotten the misery that exists below the surface. Turn the globe...... You will find only a few continents who are content. The rest are F%^&*D big time with no hope. Never forget that. Does that happen because only Raja Yogas exist and Doshas are created by frauds ??

You ask me , I say , a good astrologer is a person who knows how to interpret a Raja Yoga as well as he can interpret a Raja Yoga Bhanga , an Arishta yoga and the Doshas . If not , he is just a biased onesided lopsided astrologer . and is Unfit to be called as a astrologer . for every 1 Raja yoga there are two Raja Yogas Bhangas or Arishta yogas or Doshas present in a chart . It's just that no one wants to hear the truth ..... nor does the astrologer know how to interpret these yogas. The astrologer community is spoilt rotten because the student has been taught from day one " do not see or speak of the negative in the chart . no one wants to hear it . Just speak the good ." Ignore the bad .

Good day Shilpa ji ,
Well, I really dont know where Dr Svoboda picked it up from . But he dedicated a small chapter to it . I have seen this combination work time and again in severl horoscopes . Why I pay great attention to his words is because he is a complete scholar . There are so many yogas littered all over the place which when applied on charts come alarmingly true . Believe me , some of the yoga's I have heard are unbelieveable . For example , I had never heard of a "MahaVigyan" yoga before . Apparantly occurs when the 5th the 8th and the 9th houses and their lords are involved .
Best regard's
Deepak.

Dear Astroboy and others-
The ''Poonarybhoo ' dosha is a common term found in many books and in Jantrees aswelll ,it literary poonah-bhav - meaning something to re-occurr , which in relation to marriage means to be married again , and you will find it in cases involving marriages of a widow widower or divorcee.etc Even in case of children there are refrences when child will be born after 2nd marriage .It is generated when Moon is in direct influence of Saturn , by association or aspect as it is therein both the horoscopes underreference
Brihat Jatak has given it as someone born from 2nd marriage ,but this is not convincing as i have three charts having this combinations and inall these cases 2nd marriage did occur, but non of them is born of 2nd marriage

Dear astroboy,
Is punarbhu dosha the same as 'papa dosham' termed by south indian astrologers. I'm told that i hv this dosham. I do have an aspect of sat-moon in my horoscope. And yes, i change my mind so often, esp when it comes to marriage. You hv analysed my horoscope compatibility many times. I get proposals, but im never sure about accepting them. Even after accepting, i hv changed my mind due to some fear which stops me from taking the next step.
