D10 chart

On this web site i read almost all the articles regarding divisional charts. I understading that if D10 divisional chart has good 10th lord which is in good position then the carrier growth is good for that person.
I have Jupiter as 10th lord placed in own house in my D10chart. But have breaks in carrier every year. I am always forced to take up only contarct jobs and they end every year. At this age preparing for interviews going into new jobs every year is becoming pretty challenging for me.My birth time is accurate as it is validated by KN rao ji.
It is 9th August 1966 at 4:57Am, Manthani,AP.
What is the problem with my horoscope? Now my current contract is upto May 20th. Will this contract extend? If it does nor extend when will i get a new job?
I have rahu MD, Sat AD and Saturn is placed in a good position for me. Still why do i have to face problems? I read Rahu in 10th position is good in Natal chart. I have rahu in 10th.

I have rahu in 10th too. Rahu in 10th is not good for career and gives breaks. I think a lot depends on dispositor of rahu if rahu is alone in a house. I will check your chart to see if the dispositorship. What did shri KNR say when you showed him your horoscope?

My brother has rahu in 10th but faces a lot of hurdles in getting married.

Thank you very much Srikanth ji for the beautiful explanation. Now i understand the minus points in my D10. All these days i was hoping i have jupiter in 10 assosiated with ve means i thought its good.I am working in USA since last 12 years with big financial companies. Problem is i get the contract jobs before I get any permanent job and I work only 9 months a year. I am able to spend time with kids during summer time which is good for me but every year going through interview process and no promotions is causing all the frustration.Could u please tell me if my this current contract ends on May 20th when do i have fair chances of getting another job? Do i ever get a perm job and have some growth in career?

Thanks for your explanation. A couple of questions based on what you have nicely elaborated. If Me is the primary karaka for D10 which placement of the following will determine the nature of how one's work would be? i.e. is it Me placement or the placement of 10th lord of D10 or the Rasi 10th Lord?

You had mentioned that and I interpreted that the 2, 6, and 10th lords indicate the money potential associated with one's career. What can one expect if the 6th Lord Moon ends up being debilitated in the 10th house and more over with Sun whom you indicated as an indicator of power and Jupiter, another secondary karaka of D10, aspects it from Taurus? Is it good that the 6th is debilitated?

In your posts especially around marriage you indicate that if the lord of a house is in the 12th place from it's house it takes away from the house and not desirable, how will this apply if the 10th Lord is placed in the 9th house in D10? Doesn't such a placement typically construed as good? How can we balance these two principles?

Jupiter - 10th house ( Jupiter is 10th lord in rasi chart)
Ketu - 2nd house
Venus -3rd house
Rahu & Moon - 8th house
Sun and Mercury - 6th house
No planet - 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, 11th

He is concerned about his upcoming Ketu Mahadasha Starting Nov 2016.

Will he face any problems during next 6-8 months (would like to plan one month trip to homeland), will he progress and earn money through his job/ career/ business.

For service Job 6th Cusp is taken. 6th cusp Sublord is Saturn owning 7 & 8 bhava and placed in 9th bhava. There are planets in Saturn's Star but Saturn is in own star hence becomes strong signification of 7 8 9 bhava neither of which is good for stable permanent career.

Interestingly this person has been working albeit in contracts for short term. Take 10th cusp for Prestige , Status. 10th cusp Sublord is Rahu which represents Moon. Moon owns 1 placed in 10 bhava and no planets in Moon's stars thereby making Moon strong in 10th Cusp signification . Rahu itself placed in 10th with no planets in its star hence strong again for 10th. Rahu placed in Sun's star owning 2nd bhava and placed in 1.

Here is his Brief background first: He was born & raised in Maharashtra, India. Finished his Bachelors in 2002 and worked for 3 different private companies initially and then came to US for higher education in Dec'04. Working here in US since Aug’07. Initial 15 months on a contract Job and since then working full time for a multinational machine manufacturing private company. During Aug’14 we bought a house here on 30 year home loan. Now his Budha dasha will be ending in few months and Ketu dasha will start sometime end of Oct’16.

Also, to answer your question... He never worked with quasi government org or on projects contracted by Govt?

We are seeking some guidance about planning our 1 month vacation back to homeland.... Shall we plan it around Nov- Dec 16 time or delay it to Feb- Mar 2017. (His birth details: 26th Feb 1981/ Miraj Maharashtra, India / 08:15 HRS)
