Hello
I am devotee of my Family Goddess. I always pray Her. I am facing one problem, I can't do Her Upasana on daily and regular basis. There is no consistancy. It always comes to my mind that, I should dedicate some fixed time every day in Her worship, but I can't do it, eventhough I get ample time to do that. It seems that some forces are taking me away from the spiritual path (devotion to my Family Goddess). Could anyone please check my horoscope and confirm the reason? Could anyone please predict whether my soul and mind would get completely pacified by Her divine grace and compassion? My birth details are as follows:
DOB: 25-11-1977
TOB: 10.55 am
POB: Dhule Maharashtra (20 N 58 , 74 E 47)
Thanks & regards,
Renukadas

Just do this. for some days, visit the temple of the goddess everyday. Offer prasad and donation in the hundi there. Do this for 7 days and then start your upasana and see the results.

You must pray her along with her consort to get fuller results.Renukadas wrote:I am a man. Renukadas is my 'pen-name'. Meaning of this name is slave of Goddess Renuka. Goddess Renuka is my Family Deity.

Kandhanji - We always worship all the deities antargata Vayu antargata LaxmiNarayana. That should work well.

pls dont take this to mean that am picking up a fight here coz am not able to grasp what you mean.
but lets say someone's kula devata is Mariamman. now how can one apply your methodology here. its a completely localized deity with no frame of reference to the dominant traditions(am using this term in the sociological sense) of Hinduism although there are notions linking her to Vishnu.

Kandhanji,
No offence taken.
Let me try to explain.
When we worship kuladevata, who are we worshipping. Is it the physical kula devata ?
Let's say we worship our Parents. Is their physical structure we worship ? If we say yes to above two answers, then we must question, where is the power coming from because we ourselves are made up of the same panchbhutas. If they have this power than what are we lacking.
It is actually Paramatma Saniddhi in the Kula devata, Grama devata that blesses us. We Jeevas are jada and incapable of performing solely by ourselves. It is Hari inspiration in us that guides us to move, talk, eat, sit and all actions. Even while we are breathing every second, we are dependent on Vayu, who is the MukhyaPrana. How does Vayu survive, since all of us are dependent on Shri Hari for inspiration for Karma ? Every breath we take incessently is the Ajapa form of worship towards Narayana, that Shri Vayu undertakes on our behalf so that we may live. Now imagine, if our breath is dependent on Shri Vayu who is further dependent on Shri Hari who is not dependent on anyone, then who is the guiding factor of the body and soul.
Worshiping devatas as sole and supreme brings miseries along with happiness. The oblations must be offered to the devata who is guided by Shri Vayu who is further guided by Shri Hari.
Hence all devatas that we worship, are worshipped antargata Vayu antargata Hari. Because in Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta, Shri Krishna says, whatever you offer to other deities also reaches me. It is me who empowers the deities to give blessings on my behalf. That is the reason, one must always worship the Parents, the kula devatas, the teachers, the Guru, the yatis as upasana murty of Shri Vayu antargata Shri LaxmiNarayana only.
Only then your worship reaches till the end of the destination called Shri Hari, whose blessings are in the form of eternal bliss. On earth it is unmixed happiness. Any other way gives mixed results.
Trust I was able to explain.
