Weird?! Rahu and Ketu in same House?!

Sorry for coming and advertising my lack of knowledge in astrology...
But im a student so its ok

Btw, I was taught that Rahu and Ketu:
1) are always 7 houses apart
2) are retro in nature
3) are chaya graha/ shadow planets
4) they r not real planets, moreover, they r mathematical points
5) they r line of capricorn and line of sthng else i forgot what my teacher said in class too
6) they r the north and south node of the moon


lol however!
In my D-24, i was shocked to see
Rahu and Ketu in my 6th house together?
Is it a problem with the software?


PS. any1 recommends any good book on Rahu and Ketu??

Not at all. It can happen in divisional charts. In fact, I have rahu and ketu together in my D24 too.

Conclusion:

While in D-1 and D-10 these are always opposite , in D-20 and D-24 they are always together. They work together anyways.

The real positioning of planets in terms of sign at the time of your birth in universe is indicated only in D-1 , the rest of the divisional charts are just re divisioning of the signs according to the particular harmonics in which u r interested

I don't know much about Divisional charts except navamsa, Jupiterlight. Other knowledgeable members can help but not much point harping on a single placement, I guess. They would much rather read your entire D24.

the whole chart has to be looked at....but if Ra-Ket are not in the, aspecting or afflicting the Lords of 4th, 9th, 7th or 2nd...then it is fine.
in 6th and not conjunt with the lords of above mentioned houses, would mean you have good energy and determination to overcome any obstacles in studies.

I''m doing my Bachelors of physiotherapy, and want to continue my education.I

My D-24 has

Asc in Capri.

2nd house(Aqu) has : Me, Ma, Sa, Ju

5th house( Taurus): Moon.

7th house(Moon): Ra and ke.

9th house(Virgo): Sun

10th house( Libra) : Ve

D-1 Chart.

Asc : Libra

3rd house: Saturn and Mars

5th house: Mercury, Moon and Rahu

6th house: Sun

7th house: Jupiter and Venus

11th house: ketu.

Additional Information:

" I've completed my Intermediate(plus 2) in the year 2005 and wrote Medical common entrance exam and couldn't get a seat in the stream that i've wanted to. So, i was forced to sit out for a year and appear for the exam again(Though i had got a seat for Bsc Biotechnology in a reputed college, i didn't accept it"forced to not accept it by my father" and me too didn't have many options in mind so had to go with my father's decision.)

So, i write the entrance exam again and get a better rank, but only to get disappointed as the course which i was looking for was scrapped that same year, and so had to search for other options and then i cam to know about physiotherapy ( All by chance, as my exam center was in a physiotherapy college ... then we got to know abt the course from the same college, luckily i had good percentage in my inter(87%) So the college ppl told us that i would definitely get a seat in their college which was one of the best colleges. Then i later appeared for counseling so that i would get a seat under Govt. category. Fortunately i got seat but the college was that i got into was 75 Km away from my home. since i had no other option i was again forced to take that seat and get into the college.

So, after a "year in home" and writing the entrance exam twice i got into a course which i didn't even know existed, and would have ever known if that physiotherapy college was not my exam center for my second attempt of the common entrance exam. "Well i can say i was destined to take up the course"
So got into the course around oct 2006 and now in my final sem."

Hope this information will be of some kind of help to you.
So, once you go through my chart will you tell me whether and when will i be doing my masters and if there is any chance of receiving funding for my Msc research program, which i plan to do it from canada.

--yes there is a strong chance you will complete your post-grad...as your second and 9th lords are conjunct in the 2nd.

--doing a phD may be difficult.

--Me is the Lord of 9th (higher eductaion) is is also the Lord of 12th ( denotaing foreign connection) and is conjunct with Rahu the planet of extended foreign stay...and Rahu is aspecting the 9th house also.

--So there is a strong chnace of studting further overseas.
It will happen either before 15-feb-2012 or after aug-2014
