I'm curious as to how all of you have learned Jyotish. Do you just read about it, have a teacher, take classes, etc.?

I'm currently taking a correspondence course and have some books that I use, but I have also heard about an ashram where people study things like Jyotish & Ayurveda, and actual universities in India where you can get a Master's degree in Jyotish. Has anyone done anything like this? How is the education? Where are they located?

I haven't been able to find much specific information about this online, so I was wondering if anyone here knows :)

Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, Delhi conducts classes and issues certificates. Many reputed astrologers are in the faculty.
