Jupiter Mahadasha with Jupiter Antardasha

Hi,

My Jupiter Mahadasha started in 2009 July and currently running Jupiter Antardasha until Aug 2011.
When can I expect to see the effect of Jupiter ? How will be my Jupiter/Sa period ?

Does planet give nothing in it's own antardasha ?

Dear Dhanu
Though Jupiter is lord of ascendant and is conjoined by 9th lord Sun in 7th constituting a good yoga for positive gains in married life or in partnership ventures, but
1)- Any planet in own subperiod of Major period , does not give very good resylts, It is like a beginning few months of the newly formed Govt
2)- The strength of the Jupiter itsel and the position and placement of 7th lord is also a factor effecting the results.
3)- Jupiter is neither in own sign or sign of exaltation , in birth chart or navamsa . More over 7th lord having occupied 8th house ,Jupiter being in 12th from that loses some of its potentiality
4)- Youcan expect good results in the sub period periods of the planets friendly with Jupiter in this chart
