Hi Leogirl:

I dont think there is anything wrong in marrying at 42. I see girls or rather elderly girls from India even after 50 trying for marriage and getting married. So many are divorced these days and they cannot imagine a life in isolation. Some company is needed be it a man or a woman, otherwise life becomes a Hell.
When u cross the normal marriage age, like some experts have said, most doshas get cancelled and if the compatibility is there during discussion with the person, u can proceed and make the life more meaningful.
Only problem could be with childbirth for women but even that is possible in these days with medical aid.
See for mental compatibility which is most important, otherwise life becomes a Hell.

Dasha Sandhi is the co-inciding of the periods of two planets in the horoscope of couples . There should be at least a difference of 6 months between the starting and ending of one dasha in the boys horoscope and another Dasha in the girl's horoscope . Some hold that the difference should not be less that 12 months .
for example in your case , In your case , if you were to get married now ,

Just wanted to add ,

In the period of Dasa Sandhi, the native goes through various types of changes. If the partner is not able to cope with these changes, this may impact their relationship. If both the partners go through dasa sandhi it really produces bad results.

Some times People get attracted to each other because they are running the same dasa. However, as soon as same dasa (Dasa Samya) period is over, the attraction also disappears.
this becomes a critical point in cases where the couple is getting engaged or married during the same dasha based on the temporary attraction. We have to pay attention to this effect too .

Like u said about dasa sandhi, is it not that marriage between same stars is avoided since they would be running the same dasha. In fact for some stars like uttrattadi, magam, swati, this rule does not apply. But interestingly these are nakshatras of karmic planets like saturn, ketu and rahu and if there is going to be karmic lessons to be learnt by one, will it not magnify when both have the same dasha like say saturn? Or is it because they start with sat, which has to be less thn 19 years and so they may not suffer much?

But if this Ashwini Nakshatra man were to end up in the sack with a Poorvaphalguni woman, she might end being overwhelmed mentally and end up feeling that she has indeed been satiated by a horse .

In this era yoni pourtham is given special importance and so the software has inculcated a special check for yoni . Nowadays , if there is no satisfaction in between the sheets , it becomes a solid ground for divorce . .

Papasamya is a method in Astrology to calculate the Dosha in a Horoscope. When checking the Horoscope of a Girl and Boy, this is an important Tool for many Astrologers, to work out the amount of Dosha and decide about their Marriage. This is also known as Doshasamya.

Saturn, Rahu, Kethu, Mars and Sun are the Graha which could trouble a Person depending upon it's Position and Strength in a Horoscope. When these 5 planets are in 1-2-4-7-8-&12th places from Lagna, Chandra & Sukra, they create a certain amount of problem,(Dosha). The ferocity of the Dosha depends upon it's strength in these houses, such as a Friend or enemy , (Uccha) (Neecha) - Ruler or Equal. The total amount of Dosha for the Girl and Boy has to be calculated at the time of Horoscope Comparison for a marriage. If the Dosha index is more for the Girl than the Boy marriage will not be recommended. When the Dosha index is more for the Boy or it is Equal for Both marriage will be recommended. There are several methods to work out the Dosha Index.

At least there are 5 methods in Astrology to calculate the Dosha Index as indicated below.
1. Equal points and Equal weightage method.
2. Equal Points and Unequal weightage method.
3. Unequal Points and Equal weightage method.
4. Unequal Points Unequal Weightage Method.
5. Point System considering Planetary Friendship and Positional Strength.

In kaliyuga as u said, lack of yoni poruttam is the cause of divorce in 90% of the cases, may be they should check for that and if OK, get married, otherwise not since marriage is thought of for procreation only. Dear all,

I'm writing to update you all on the status of this proposal. It didnt work, as the guy turned out to be a fraud. I did feel something was not right about him during our first meeting itself. He told me about some big names who happens to be his friends ; I did a background check about him and found that he had been lying about everything.

I had read somewhere that a person with Rahu in the 12th house cannot be trusted. This guy has it and that was one of the reasons why i doubted him and my doubts were cleared.

Rahu in 12th, it doesnt mean that the person is deceptive. See if Jupiter is placed with rahu or any aspect of jupiter on rahu can make person reliable and genuine. I have also rahu in 12th With jup-mars. My relatives, my frnds and so many persons even unknown person who trust on me.
