Dear readers most of us felt unhappy over the un warrented comments in this forum against Jagadguru Sri Shankaracharya and gods we believe and practised. The main motto of my writings with regard to Shiva - Paramesh is not to distinguish the supremacy of any God, but to convey the eternal understanding of ones belief, customs and rituals. Take any religion, they have their own religious beliefs and they are right in their own way, we are no body to comment their beliefs.
In Hinduism, no one has forced any one to believe Krishna ,or Vishnu, Or Shiva. It is left to individuals to seek the happiness in praying any God. After all it is ones faith and understandings.
What we live in this world is a small part of Anantha Brahmanda. In this world there are many diversed religion and beliefs. In the same way, there are numerous Dharma Kshetra and Punya Kshetra. But by Gods grace our Bharatha Desha is considered as Athyantha Pavithra Desha having numerous punya and dharma kshetras.. That is why it is called as the Valley of Punya and Dharma Kshetras-- Bharatha Desha. Visiting this punya kshetra and performing poojas, one can release from his papa phala and it guides the person to seek Moksha.
Therefore, if we create the difference in between Gods and believe only Soorya or Vishnu or Shiva and does the aradhana of perticular God , we will get the phala of that God only.
For this purpose Lord Sri Shankaracharya showed us Panchayathana Pooja ( Brahma , Vishnu, Shiva, Ganapathi and Devi )
Each God in Hinduism makes the way for each phala, this can be understood from their JANMA PURANA. Therfore Acharyas said that, one can reap each ishtartha by praying each God.This has been told very clearly by Sayanacharya while writing the comments on the Vedhas.
So one should not think that he will achieve every thing by praying only one God. All Avadoothas after getting anugraha of their ishta devatha , they prayed their God in defferent ways. They all believed God is one but they found the defference in their pray with their Aradhana swamy. They never advocated the Supremacy or any Defferences among Gods.
For Eg:- Thyagaraja did the araadhana of Lord Sri Rama. Rama was a Dharmista, he had no desires. Therefore Tyagaraja also had any desires, lived for the sake of Dharma and ultimately joined the feet of Lor Sri Rama.
Purandara Dasa prayed Lord Sri Krishna. He gave up all his luxuries to Lord Krishna. Here Krishna is a Sarvanga Parithyagi, never had too much of desires for Samsaara. In the same way, Purandara Dasa full filled his life.
Ramana Maharshi was a Shiva Bhaktha. He believed Shiva. Lord Shiva never enjoyed Sukha , Bhogha, he became Mukthiroopa by Vibhuthi Dharana. In the same way , Ramana Maharshi through mukthiroopa prayed Lord shiva and experienced . He became Mahanobava by experiencing Shiva sayujya.
Take Shankarananmda Avadootha was a Shiva Aradhaka. He had every Raja Boga , Bhagya . But he relinquished all and became a Tyagi, recited shiva nama and achieved SHIVAIKA . The greatness of this avadootha is , he helped many people only by his SANKALPA
Brahmananda Avadooth worshipped Kumba Konam Ganapathi, he used to solve the problems of his bhakthas and ultimately he died at the feet of Lord Ganesha after getting the Ganeshjis Darshan.
Lord Shankaracharya was a aradhaka of Devi. He experinced defferent avatharas of Devi, prayed in Shakthi Peeta., he defeated his rivals and CHAARVAKA MATHA by the consent of Devi. At last he also joined the feet of Ma Bhagavathi.
Every body has prayed their own God , had done upasana of that God and experienced the phala as per the GUNA OF THAT GOD.
In this ,what we understand is , one should pray each God as per the circumstances he faces in his life and reap his Ishtartha phala. It is impossible , if any one thinks , he will achieve every thing in praying ONE GOD
Shankaracharya has explained this point of view in PANCHAYATHANA POOJA
For Eg:- Ganapathi ----- for Vigna Nivarana
Vishnu ----------for smooth functioning of ishtartha.
Durga -----------for defeating enemies.
Ravi -------------for our health, Thejas and Kaanthi
Shiva -----------for achieving manosankalpa.
OTHER THAN THIS WHAT ELSE WE REQUEST IN THIS WORLD
Shiva -----To relinquish Shareeras mamakaara
Ravi--------he gives Athma vichaar and Jnanamritha.
Ganapathi--along with athma vichar, he produces Bhakthi
Vishnu-----protects from Kama Vikaar
Durgi------ always protects our Shareera.
Therefore a person does this devatha Chintana, he will be successfull in achieving Moksha. This ,one can learn from BRAHMA SOOTHRA BHASHYA
In other words , one can achive the phala of parihara for perticular dosha by praying perticular devatha. No one can achieve all phala of every parihara by praying only Vishnu ( Vishnu Sahasranama ) or Shiva ( Shiva Panchakshari ) or Durga ( Lalitha sahasra nama ).
If any one thinks all doshas can be removed by Lord Vishnu , then there is no need for other devathas for any dosha pariharas , In that case only Lord Vishnu Sahasranama is enough and one need not believe any other Gods as Vishnu does every thing .
In otherwords-- A perticular medicine is for perticular desease and not one medicine for all desease.
Or for that matter Brahmins also believe Lord Krishna , Lord Rama. These Gods are not brahmins by birth, we all call them as lord or bhagwan.
For that reason, Shankaracharya shown the world of Panachayathana Pooja. Shankaracharya did this pooja and practically shown the world its importance. With his guidance many Avadooths performed this panchayathana pooja and shown the way for coming generation.
If we do this daily as shown by Shankaracaharya, we achieve happiness in all means.
Before i go to Shiva- Parameshwara, i will try to brief about Lord shankaracharya, whether he is DWAITA DWESHI , VISHNU DWESHI or he took the shield of buddhism and refined the name to Hinduism.
I also try to explain , whose shaapa is there for Vishnu, Brahma , Shiva. Why Shiva Shaapa vimochana Mantra is recited in Vishnu temple and vice versa in Shiva Temple also, how Stree also can recite the Mantras and whose shaap is there for Sthree..
TO BE COTINUED---------
For thar reason
Shiva- Paramesh And Jagadguru Sri Shankaracharya

Mr.Rao
Look forward to more from you. You seem to be very well read. Glad to have people like you on this forum. To add my two bits:
Hinduism is generally associated with a multiplicity of Gods, and it does not advocate the worship of one particular deity. The Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism amount to thousands, all representing the many aspects of only one supreme Absolute called “Brahmanâ€. However, people who don’t know this, misinterpret and misuse the fact that Hinduism has a multitude of Gods! What one should understand is that although there are many manifestations of Brahman in the forms of deities each deity is really an aspect of the Brahman or, ultimately Brahman itself.
Now coming to What is Brahman?
In Hinduism, the impersonal Absolute is called “Brahmanâ€. According to this pantheistic belief, everything in existence, living or non-living comes from it. Therefore, Hindus regard all things as sacred. We cannot equate Brahman with God, because God is male and is describable, and this takes away from the concept of the Absolute. Brahman is formless or “nirakaraâ€, and beyond anything that we can conceive of. However, it can manifest itself in myriad forms, including Gods and Goddesses, the “sakara†form of the Brahman.
According to Prof. Jeaneane Fowler of the University of Wales College, Newport: “The relationship between the many manifest deities and the unmanifest Brahman is rather like that between the sun and its rays. We cannot experience the sun itself but we can experience its rays and the qualities, which those rays have. And, although the sun’s rays are many, ultimately, there is only one source, one sun. So the Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism amount to thousands, all representing the many aspects of Brahmanâ€
Sorry to interrupt. Please continue with your wonderful writings. Its always a pleasure.
Thanking you,
Nidi

Shri Srinivas Rao Ji,
Namaskara,
I have a request - Could you please write briefly about what is Advaita and What is Dwaita, What is Moksha, Who are the Contenders for Moksha, Who gets Moksha, The relationship between "one who gets moksha" and "the Rest" - before and after getting moksha, What is Gyana and also Agyana - and what is the threshold(crossingline) of gyana/agyana mix that is required to get moksha. Sir, In my belief, this sets a basic ground that helps in understanding all else you are about to write.
Best regards
Sridhar

Jagadguru Shri Shankaracharya
To rescue the almost extinguished Sanathana Dharma, the Parabrahma Swaroopa, Parameshwara,Jagadishwara,Parvathi vallbha Parashiva, the Lord SHIVA came to this earth through manava roopa, travelled throughout, shown and taught the whole world about ADWAITA TATWA, made jnanabodhana to millions and returned to heaven with same shareera.
Shivaguru and Aryamba prayed Vrashabachaleshwara for granting a child to them. Lord Shiva was pleased by their true bhakthi and shruddha, came to this earth as their Son, only to Protect and Guide this world from adharma.
On the sacred Vibhava naama Samvatsara, Vaishaka Maasa, Shuddha Panchami day, in the most auspecious Abhijin Muhurtha, when 5 planets were balista, Shankaracharya was born.
On his birth, people who donot believe God ( Naastiks) ran away, the strength of dusta ( Bad ) people drastically reduced, Bowdha Kuthanthris ( cuunning ) started hiding themselves, Kapalika Matha almost extinguished, the trees started giving fruits, plants and flowers blossomed, every where peace and tranquility restored, dried rivers started filling up again,Brahmins became happy, earth and heavens started praising Shankara, the earth got back its originality, people from all the caste and creed came to take the darshan of this child who is none other than SAAKSHATH PARASHIVA, showed his avathar through Shankara Roopa
To help Shankara, many devathaas came to this earth from their amshas.
SRIMANNARAYANA took the birth by name Sananda as a son to one brahman shreshta Vimala and later became PADMAPAADA ACHARYA as a desciple of Shankaracharya.
By the command of Shiva , VAYU DEVA took birth as a son to one famous brahman Prabhakara, helped the Shankaracharya, got the love and affection from shankaracharya and later on became HASTHAMALIKA a desciple of Shankaracharya.
AGNI DEVA came to the earth from his amsha as a son to one brahmin by name Vishwanatha, joined Yathyashrama( Yathi+ Ashrama ) waiting for years to take darshan of Shankaracharya and later on became a famous desciple by name THOTAKACHARYA , So Agni Deva became dhanya.
Brahma Deva agreeing to lord Shiva , came to this earth as a son by name MANDANA MISHRA to one brahman Bhattacharya in Maahishmathipura, prayed Shankara and waited for his darshan. So Brahma Deva Became dhanya.
In the poorva kala, before Shankaracharya period, Goddess Saraswathi was cursed by Doorvasa Muni. By this shaap, saraswathi came to the earth as a daughter to one brahman ,( vishnu priya ) called Bhattacharya. Sarswathi lived here by name Ubaya Saraswathi, married to MANDANA MISHRA and was waiting for Shankara for Shaap Vimochana
Nandishwara, Veerabhadra and Ganapathi from their respective amshas came to this earth in the name of UDAKA MUNI
Jala Devatha Varuna came to this earth in the name of CHITSUKHA.
Brahaspathicharya took the birth in this earth as ANANDA GIRI.
Yamadharma took the birth in this earth as KAALA KAALA.
As per Manu Smrithi, at the age of 5, Upanayana was performed to Shankaracharya. From this Upanayana Brahmopadesha, Shankaracharya started learning ---Shastras, Arts, Science, Veda, Vedangas (SHADANGA )--Shiksha, Kalpa, Vyakarana, Niruktha, Chandassu, learned jyothisha and became equal to his Guru. Through Vamana Roopa, Vatu Roopa, Shankara became Maha Tejasvi and started explaining in detail every difficult subjects he came accross.

Respected Raoji and Anupamji:
Raoji, all these outside upasanas of dwaitha after sometimes will take one to non-duality state of Adwaitha. Anupamji is very true in this priniciple. I am talking this from my own experience.
Some time back, even I did not heed Anupamji's word of Adwaitha. But, now, I am now understanding clearly that there is no Dwaitha, but only one and one of Parabrahmam which is present in all and everywhere. Of course, in different bodies.
Raoji, you told about Shankaracharyas doing Pachayathana pooja. Yes true, but they are doing those pujas without any vikalpa, but just for well being of everybody in this world without any desire. When they do those poojas, they take out their energy or soul from inside and install it in a murti and then they do pooja. This energy or chaitanya as you know is called God, whether you call it Vishnu, Brahma, Shiva, Muruga, Ganapathi, Devi or be it anything. When the pooja is finished, they take that energy back into them. This is called, you might be knowing, Sri Vidya Upasana. This is the real and highest pooja.
In short, all murtis and outside thing will cease once and forever when one's upasana gets stronger. This is applicable to all, but then these are all things to be understood by their own experience rather than teaching. Now Raoji, all outside poojas if any is done for pure mana suddhi or chitta suddhi. This is the essence and motivation of all festivals and all rituals. When chitta becomes suddhi, the brahman shines like anything. Upasana of any god is for that only.
When this tatwa is understood without a least doubt and clearly by experience, all these distinctions will come to end.
These are all from my humble experience and observations of my own.
Regards
Narayanan

He took the Sanyasatwa from mother. After taking the sanyasatwa, he started searching for Guru. At last, Guru Govinda Paadacharya became his guru. Shankara served his guru with athyantha bhakthi and shruddha, learned Brahma Vidya, Brahama Sutra Baashya, Maha Vidya, Sri Chakra Vidya, Shardra Vidya, Kaivalya Vidya and later on became Guru Samaana (equal to Guru )
In fact Guru Govinda Paadacharya was a Vaishnavite.
After that, he started his journey to KASHI, took bath in Ganga, visited Vishalakshi Vishwanatha temple, preached Brahma Suthra Baashya, shown his excellency, attracted people, earned many shishyas of different sect and became Loka Vikyatha.
One day Lord Shiva Disguised himself as Chaandala, showed his avathar to Shankara. With this he earned Brahma Jnana.
Shankaracharya got the darshan of his Guru Govinda Paadacharya on the banks of Ganga and became dhanya.
After that he preached daily Dharma Jnana, whole world was astonished to see his excellency (panditya) and became world renowned as JAGADGURU
Achievements Of Shankaracharya:-
1) He visited Badrinathashram and Narayanashram, here also he wrote details of Baashya for Brahma Suthra, for the betterment of the world he preached his desciples.
2) He wrote Baashya for Bhagwath Geetha, uttered wonderful words with regard to Adyatma, dhyana ( preached mumukshu)
3) Later on he wrote baashya for Kata, Kena, Mundaka, Manduka, Eesha vaasya, Brahma Dharanyaka for the loka kalyana.
4) He preached the world that a Shareera consists of Nava Dwaras--2 ears , 2 eyes, 2 nostrils, 1 mouth, 1 Maladwara ( anus ), 1 moothra dwara ( kidney) are an embodiment of Mareechi, Angirasa, Pulasya, Pulaha, Kratha, Daksha, Athri and Vriddha Vasista . Also called as Nava Brahmas, meaning all these navabrahmas were residing in 9 dwaras and shown the world about the Brahma Sutra bhava.
5) All these and Brahma Suthra baashya, he wrote when he was only 12years of age.
6) One day during his bhikshatana, he stood in front of one daridra ladys house( Poor), kindly accepted Amla seed from her, prayed the Lord of Aishwarya Godess Mahalaxmi and made that Amla into gold and showered golden amlas before her. Later on he wrote Kanaka Daara Stotra which he placed before the world for coming generation.
7) One day shankara was preaching the jnana bodhana, Vyasa Maharshi disguised himself as vraddha brahman visited Shankarashram, saw and gonethrough the Brahma Sutra written by shankara. He was very much pleased and blessed with further 16 years of Ayusha. Therefore Shankara had 16+16=32 years of ayusha.
Shankaracharya had only 8 years of ayusha. When he accepted the Yathyashrama, his ayusha doubled to 16 years. When he kept the Brahma Sutra Baashya at the feet of Vyasa Muni, he was blessed by Vyasa Muni with further 16 years of ayusha.

He wrote Vaaktika,Vaarthika to Brahama Sutra written by Bhatta Paadamuni( Kumarila Bhatta) who was from Subramamnya amsha.
9) Later on he started his journey towords South, wrote Ganga Stotra.
10) He released Bhatta Paadacharya from tushagni, got the blessings from him
11) After that he came to Maahishmathi nagar, visited Mandana Mishra, defeated him in arguements, could not give the answer to the question raised by Ubaya Saraswathi, took the permission from her for 2 months time, did PARAKAAYA PRAVESH, understood the answer for the question , gave the answer to Ubaya Saraswathi, requested MAATHA UBAYA SARASWATHI to follow him wherever he goes. Ubaya Saraswathi immediately realised her Vimochana from Shaap and agreed to follow him. But she raised one condition that, " If u stop any where and make me to stay in any perticular place, then i will stay there and give u a boon . u will hear only my sandals ( Paada chain) sound, U should not look back, whenever u look back i will stay there. "
Shankara humbly accepted the request of Sri Chakra Devatha Saraswathi.
12) He continued his journey, defeated a Kapalika by name Ugra Bairava and defeated his ahankaar, preached jnanabodhana to him and lifted Kapalika Matha.
13) After that he visited Sri Saila, he took a darshan of Atmalinga by name Bramaramba,Mallikarjuneshwara--wrote many , many Shiva Stotra, Shaiva Stuthi, Durgashtaka, durga Stuthi, Bramaramba Stuthi, wrote Bhavani Stuthi and Bhujanga Stuthi[/b], placed all these before the world for further knowledge .
14) Moving further, he travelled western side and visited Gokarnaeshwara. There he preached his Brahma Sutra Baashya, earned many as his desciples.

That is True
[/quote]quote="Narayan"]Respected Raoji and Anupamji:
But, now, I am now understanding clearly that there is no Dwaitha, but only one and one of Parabrahmam which is present in all and everywhere. Of course, in different bodies.
When chitta becomes suddhi, the brahman shines like anything. Upasana of any god is for that only.
When this tatwa is understood without a least doubt and clearly by experience, all these distinctions will come to end.
These are all from my humble experience and observations of my own.
Regards
Narayanan

Is there any SHAAP for Vishnu Sahasranama or Is there any SHAAP for Rudra Sahasranama?
It has been told in ANUSHTAN PADDATHI GRANTHA.
As per the Shiva Purana, Shiva after getting the Shakthi from Ma Bhagawathi, he started glittering like a Akahnda Divya Jyothi. At the same time Brahma and Vishnu were having an argument with regard to who is prakrathis AADHI AND ANTHYA.?
Narada came to know about the arguements between Vishnu and Brahma, Narada went to their place , made pranam to both and said-------Kindly do not argue , it is against the system of prakrathi. Therefore if u still wants to know who is Aadhi or Anthya, it would be better u both go and see that Jyothi and try to find out the Anthya. If one of the two succeeds in knowing the Anthya of jyothi, he will be considered as the AADHI AND ANTHYA.
So Narada gave his advise to both and left the place.
On hearing this Lord Vishnu took the permission from Lord Brahma, sat on Garuda started searching that jyothi in the sky.
aord Brahma taking the permission from Lord vishnu , sat on Hamsa started searching that jyothi on the earth.
To their surprise, they were unable to see the Anthya nor the Aadhi of that jyothi.
Simulataneously, Shiva was seeing what is happening in between two lords. On seeing this Shiva felt bad and shook his head. With this, one Puspa ( we call that puspa as Thale Pushpa) fell down from Shivas head right on to the palm of Vishnu.
Vishnu on realising this , he took that pushpa and started his journey towards Brahma with tremondous speed thinking that this is the moola of that jyothi. While flying in a speed, that puspa slipped from the hands of Vishnu and straight landed on to the hands of Brahma.
Both came to one place and lied themselves and said they saw the aadhi and anthya of the jyothi.
On seeing this Shiva joined them and said --U two have lied, therfore u both will not have the pooja phala and cursed both.
On hearing this , both Brahma and Vishnu cursed Shiva and said ---It is u who made us unable to see the Aadhi and Anthya of that jyothi, so u too will not have any aradhana phala and they both cursed Shiva.
With this reason--- there is no aradhna to Brahma. since Vishnu has got tha shaap, Vishnu pooja will not have pooja phala if Shaap Vimochana Mantra is not recited. Any amount of Vishnu pooja is done , one will not have pooja phala if Shiva Shaap Vimochana Mantra is not recited.
In the same way, Rudra Sahasranama also have the Vishnu Shaap. If Vishnu shaap vimochana is not done then one will not get the Rudra pooja phala.
Therfore , any amount of Rudraikadashini, Rudra homa , Rudra Yaga, Athi Rudra -Maharudra yaga will not be phalakari if Visnu Shaap Vimochana is not carried/ done
Please understand this is only for POOJA and not for daily chanting.
If any one needs further information , they can refer and gothrough Shiva Purana and Anushtana Paddathi which are available in the vedanta book shops.

Astrology is not a Science of light, but it is the Science of life
Dear Nidi83:
"Now coming to What is Brahman?
In Hinduism, the impersonal Absolute is called Brahmam"
One can describe in as many words and in as many books one can....everything alright, but what about experience? No words, no books, no worlds, no anomalies, no granthas come anywhere it. Hence, I strongly believe everybody can only know it clearly when they experience at some point of time.
Theories are kept to understand by buddhi or Viveka and someone who has good Sanskrit knowledge can identify the correct meaning of it because if u see Vedas, granthas, soundarya lahari or be it any text, it all has spoken indirectly even by remaining in that territory, but still it cant describe exactly, but in experience, even buddhi fails. Even the theories dissolve.
It results or ends up in deep core mauna that sometimes even words are hard to come by. No words to describe that calmness and silence.
Even Vedas failed to describe it exactly in words. Hence it quoted "Anando Brahame Divyajanath" Know that the absolute reality is Ananda. It does not know to describe beyond that. "To know" in vedas means to experience.
To have that experience, one should keep on asking the love of feet of Lord and love for the feet of Guru, constantly and always till time u are embraced in the absolute reality, no matter spring, winter, autumun, and summer may go and come, one should be determined always to have that amrita of unending divine love.
May Lord Shankara help everybody in their pursuit.

27) Later he travelled again to north, visited Kashi, got the darshan Kashi Vishwanatha wrote Shatha Rudra Parayana . Here Lord Shiva came in his dreams and said " u will have only 32 years of ayush, after that u have to come and join me "
28) After that he left to Kashmir , there he defeated many very well learned people in arguements, he occupied SARVAJNA PEETA and became JAGAD GURU
OUT OF 4 SHISHYAS:-
29) He called Sureshwaracharya and gave him 1 Chandra Mouleshwara linga ( 5 lingas Shankara got from Renukacharya) and asked him to go to Shrengeri in south. This has become DAKSHINAMNAYA PEETA
30) He called 2nd desciple Padmapadacharya, gave him one more chandra mouleshwara linga and asked him to go to Dwaraka and to pray Sharada Devi. It is called as PASCHIMNAYA PEETA.
