Before i start my analysing ur horoscope , i would like to make very clear to u the followings--
!) I am not a Proffessional Astrologer. Therefore u have to consult ur known astrologer u believe. It is always better to take the 2nd opinion. To fecilitate in taking the 2nd opinion , i have explained in detail so that u can ask questions with ur astrologer on the basise of my writings.
2) I may be wrong in my predictions. So please bear with me. U are a well learned person, knowing astrology, coming from the astrological back ground, it may not be proper for me to analyse .But u trusted and requested me, hence i cannot say no . I will try my best sir.

Continued from -----
In Lagna ----Ketu.
Lagna is aspected by ---Shani and rahu.
Phala is :- In ur vamsha ( ancestors , family ) there was Akaal marana ( unexpected Death). the dead has not attained the Moksha and has become Pretha. That Pretha Dosha is there in ur jataka and it gives lot of problems to u.
Let me explain in detail:-
Ketu and Rahu is -----Akaal Marana Karaka ( unexpected death)
Shani is --- Pretha Karaka (Pretha means --a dead could not attain Mohsha. )
Since Akaal marana karaka Ketu is in lagna and is aspected by Pretha karaka Shani, there happened a Pretha Dosha. It happened in lagna and so this dosha touched the native when he is still in mothers womb.
Chandra , the manokaraka in Rahu nakshatra (swathi) . Rahu is in the 7th along with Shani aspecting the lagna.
Therefore it has effected not only to lagna , but also to Chandra.
Phala is :- When Chandra is in Rahu nakshatra, the native will act indeffinetely, as if his mind is caught and afflicted.
His mind moves like a Serpant which donot know its destination.
Over and above this, Chandra is aspected by shani along with Rahu, some times the native becomes MOODY . Shani is Mandha Karaka. Lagna is also aspected by Shani. The native do not OPEN HIS MOUTH. He will keep every thing inside in his heart.. He will suffer from too much thinking, caluculation, sometimes nervous debility.

Leaving the house by frustration. depending upon others . Living under debt. Sudden getting anger etc---.
4) Pishacha means :- Some times native becomes too much moody, unexplainable fear in mind, dont feel to live in this world, acts violently. no respect to God , Elderly people, sickness, always talks philosophy about Moksha and Death.
If u see Navamsha -- Shani and Rahu aspects the lagna. kuja aspects Shani both in rashi chakra and in Navamsha. So here also Lagna is not left out by Shani , Rahu Kuja.
Note:- Our ancestors either by negligence or by their arrogant attitude, they fail to do pooja , punaskaars, dhaan which they promised before their Deity. Because of this, we have to suffer in this world from various problems , no mental peace etc, etc---.
We the learned people has to find this KARMA DOSHA from which deity and accordingly we perform Pariharas. We can DEFFINETELY come out from this defficulties and carry on our lives smoothly.
If fail to release this Karma Dosha, whatever the yoga u have in ur jataka or even if there is strong Shadbala, poverty and DUKH( sadness) is very much guaranteed.
Therefore, a JYOTHISHI should see first this and then he should predict the jataka. This is the foremost and important for every jyothishi. All these things are beautifully explained only in --PRASHNA SHASTRA and few NAADI GRANTHAS.
As prescribed in the above Granthas , one should perform SHAANTHI and one can relieve themselves from these curses. Then only the native will get the benefic from DASHA and BHUKTHI
This is directly related to KARMA DOSHA and it is TRUE. For eg:- one person is having Shukra Dasha, shubh grahas in kendras and also shubh drishti. Still he has numerous problems. I have seen this in many horoscopes. Dosha is mainly responsible and it is very important to get rid of the same.
THEREFORE PARIHARA IS VERY , VERY IMPORTANT____ ONLY IF U BELIEVE IN POORVA JANMA AND PUNAR JANMA.

His father was born on 5.01.1944, Trichur, 8. 15 am. There are many similarities between the father and sons horoscope. I just wanted the forum members to understand ,how the Dosha comes to son when father has not done any parihara.
Similarities are:- laganadipathi---shani
vakra Guru , Shani
Shukra in vrischika rashi
Budha in Dhanu rashi
Ravi is aspected by Kuja ( father- Ravi + kuja)
Fathers Chandra aspects sons chandra in tula
Born in January
Ketu in lagna
7th house Rahu.
Father was born during Yama ganda kala
Son born in Rahu Kala.
Since u r born in Rahu Kala ---Kashta, Nashta jeevana. Because of Rahu Dosha , mind is totally disturbed.
Moksha Karaka Ketu in lagna is aspected by adyatmika graha Shani. u r always thinking about adyatmik, advaitha, tatwa jnana. u r interested to learn more about Moksha. some times u change ur aim and hence u could not achieve it. U havent got still Right Guru and u will get him shortly. Guru is in Lagnadipathi Shani nakshatra, shani sees the lagna and Guru is in Jala Tatwa Rashi , u have the desire to learn more in this subject. But Kuja sees the lagnadipathi and by the Kuja Dosha u reject some good opportunities in ur life. U may suffer in future from the sickness of joint pain in waist area, problem of heart.
Lagna and lagnadipathi is not Shuddi and u r a Shrama Jeevi, u get very often anger, u always feels to help the needy, u wont look back in ur Dhaana Dharma, believe too much in God. Even all of this, some times u feel there is no GOD Sir ,U r not doing this , ur Graha does this to u. So that is why i say always ,Parihara plays very important part in ones life.
PARIHARA
First u have to do Sarpa Shanthi, Udaka Shanthi, Aruna Poorvaka Soorya Namaskar,
after doing the above, Panchamritha Abhisheka to GAYATRI CHAKRA
After that,----- by Lalitha Sahasranama that Gayatri chakra is made Abhisheka with Tarmic water and mixed it Udaka Shanthi water, then that Chakra should be placed in ur head and take bath .If u do this ur shareera will become shuddhi.
After that ,1000 Tila Gayatri Homa, Kuja Shanthi, Chandi Shanthi. Lalitha Pinda pitra Yajna ,ashleh bali Vaiswa Deva Bali, Laxminarayana Hradaya homa, sudharshana Uchatana Homa, Sri Chakra pooja , and Narayana Bali to be performed.In doing so u will be relieved from GRAHA CHESTA,then only u can release ur Karma and u will have good future.
This is little tough , time consuming, expensive. But there is no way. I have explained this from TANTRA SAARA
OR
In case u cannot do as per the above, then u can say the following Mantra daily 108 times or 21times----
Shakthim vina shivonasthi shakthirnasthi shivam vina-shivakthyaathmakam shri chakram chowdeshwari paraashkthim-vidurbudha
If u say this daily, MA BHAGAVATHI will be pleased and u will be saved from any defficulties in life.
OR
Along the above mantra , it would be better if u say SHANI MANTRA.( This is from MAHA MANTRA GRANTHA)
Om Shanishcharaya pangu paadaya kaka vahanaya, sarva graha peeda pariharaya swaha
Say at least 21 times if not 108 times.

Dear Mr Narayanan:-Dob- 22/02/1979, 9-15am Palght
U denied that , there was Rahu Kala at the time of ur birth I will clarifye ur doubt here.
Monday--Sun Rise at Palghat is --6.47 am, Sun set --6.22pm
as usual in Panchanga they show the Rahu klala timings with respect to Sun Rise at 6am. U r born on Monday . Monday, Rahu Kaala as per panchanga is between 7.30am to 9am. Since the Sun rise on that day is 6 .47am , Rahukala of that day is as follws:-
7.30+0.47mts= rahu kaala starts at 8.17am and ends at 9.47am.
U r born at 9.15am , when the Rahu Kala was there.
I hope this point is very clear now.
There is seperate Phala for Rahu Kala janma , which i dont want to go in detail.
Rahu Kaala means , at that time Rahu is in ferocious mood. If Kuja is there in Navmsha Lagna , this Rahu will effect ones life . The native will have the tough time ahead. I will not go in detail here.
Here i want to enlighten u, the following very important points to be noted at the time of analysing any horoscope.
Usually when we analyse the jataka we analyse from lagna and analyse the shubha graha from lagna. like from lagna , the grahas should be in good position from Chandra also. Then only the native will experience the good phala. If grahas are in good position from Lagna and not from Chandra, that graha will give only ordinary phala. I hope u understood.
Chandra is manokaraka. Daily routine Karaka. Maathra Karaka. Prominent person karaka in social life. Daily income karaka. Therefore this Chandra should not be with papa grahas , aspected by papa grahas and also should not be in papa graha nakshatra . In case the Chandra is efflicted , if he is in betwwen papa graha , or in papa graha nakshatra or in relation to 8th lord, or bhadaka sambandha or with relation to Rahu , shani, Ketu, kuja, he will make the native to under go difficulties , obstacles in his life again and again.
Suppose the Chandra in Rahu nakshatra( In ur case) or with Rahu, no mental peace at home as well as at work place. UR MIND TRAVEL LIKE A SEPANT. It wont go stright . Chanchala.Even if u think good , it will become bad. U will have have tremendous tention and ultimately ur mind will get effected and u will have to suffer from mental sickness.( please dont misundestand) U have to suffer for money, job, ur health etc.
If this Chandra is aspected or sambandha of 12th lord , the native will deffinetely will have the above said problem ( in ur case it is there. Ur chandra is aspected by 12th lord Shani and in Rahu nakshatra, Rahu is with shani)
Let us come back to ur Jataka;
U r born in 9th tithi, krishna paksha, where the Chandra is considered as Ksheena Chandra.For ur information , Chandra is weak during Krishna Paksha 8th tithi -to- 8th tithi of Shukla paksha.
Ksheena chandra means Alpa Buddhi, getting criticism from others .
If The Chandra is in between Tula 15 degree to Vrischika 15 degree that Chandra is considerd as Ksheena Chandra. In sucha a case he will give the native problem in marriage, too much expenses, sickness, criticism from others etc---.( in Ur case it is there)
Ur ksheena Chandra in 9th house ---u will get little sukha from ur father.
Since Chandra in Vayu tatwa rashi ( Tula ) the native is intelligent, Jnani.
There is a saying in Jyothisha ---How much the Chandra becomes weaker , the natives mother will have that much tough life in her jeevana. So they say in a horoscope, Chandra and Shukra should not be weaker at any cost.
Ur 4th stana, Sukha Sthana is aspected by kashta karaka Shani and from 4th to 4th Shani is placed and hence u will have alpa sukha.SUKHAM SWAPNAPI DURLABAM
CHANDRA IS THE LORD OF 6TH HOUSE , THE HOUSE SICKNESS AND IS IN BADAKA STHANA , ASPECTED BY ROGA KARAKA SHANI, CHANDRA IN VISHAKARAKA RAHU NAKSHATRA , Shani took the karaktwa of chandra and gave his karakatwa of fear to chandra---U HAVE TO SUFFER FROM MENTAL ANXIETY. FEAR AND UNHAPPINESS.( SHANI AND RAHU --IS FEAR KARAKA) .
CHANDRA IS STHREE GRAHA ,CHANDRA IS MANO KARAKA, CHANDRA IN VAYU TATWA RASHI, CHANDRA IN BADAKA STHANA, BADKA LORD IS ALSO STREE GRAHA , CHANDRA IS ASPECTED BY SHANI( SHANI IS VAYU TATWA GRAHA) ALONG WITH STREE GRAHA RAHU, SHANI IS NIGHT KARAKA-----SO U FEEL THE PRESENCE OF ONE FEMALE IN AIR IN UR DREAMS OR IN THE NIGHT TIME. SEE MY THREAD EARLIER. THE FASTER U CURE WITH MEDICINE ALONG WITH PARIHARA ,BETER U FEEL THE RESULTS AND DEFFINETELY U WILL LEAD A GOOD LIFE ,. THAT IS SHURE. MEDICINE SIMATANIOUSLY WITH PARIHARA WILL HAVE THE DOUBLE IMPACT AND U WILL BE CURED FASTER AND COPMPLETELY
Ur mothers health may not be good . Day by day her health may deteriorate, ur mothers brother may have problems
Pitra Sthana is 9th house. Pitra Karaka is Ravi is in 12 th from lagna , Pitra stanadipathi Shukra is BALA HEENA in 10th,( shukra is nirbala in 10th house, digbala in 4th house),pitra sthana is aspected by shani. Pitra sthanas badaka sthana is simha rashi . In simha rashi shani and Rahu is there . Rahu is stree karaka . So there is Sarpa Dosha and Stree Shapa is there.
Since ur lagna is efflicted with Shani , Rahu and Ketu --- Stree shapa is more in ur fathers vamsha. He has not done any parihara , it has come to u also .
The present Dasha-- Shani dasha-- Ravi bhukthi is not a good period for u . Because it is in 6/8 combination . There might be change of residence or ur work place , u will have tough time with ur father.

Let me explain in detail:-

Shani is --- Pretha Karaka (Pretha means --a dead could not attain Mohsha. )
Since Akaal marana karaka Ketu is in lagna and is aspected by Pretha karaka Shani, there happened a Pretha Dosha. It happened in lagna and so this dosha touched the native when he is still in mothers womb.
Chandra , the manokaraka in Rahu nakshatra (swathi) . Rahu is in the 7th along with Shani aspecting the lagna.
Therefore it has effected not only to lagna , but also to Chandra.
Phala is :- When Chandra is in Rahu nakshatra, the native will act indeffinetely, as if his mind is caught and afflicted.

I am fond of doing Sandavandyanam under Vilva tree and in Lord Shiva or in Goddess Devi temple. Doing in such places your Sandhyavandanam and Brahma Yagnam is more auspious than doing at home.
