First of all, the boy is going though his last phase of Sade Sati . This phase will end on 16th November 2011. I suggest that you wait for this period to get over, then give him another 6 months to see what his mental state is in , and then if there is no improvement in his behaviour , think of seperation for a brief period . Normally Sade sati for Simha lagna / Rashi Natives is tough because Shani is the 6th lord.
It is not that I am using this thread to grind an old axe, But I cant help but mention here that the horoscopes do not match in the least . I do not know if these charts were matched for compatibility before the two got married . But there is no use crying over spilt milk . There is a kid involved here and its imperative that the two stay together for the sake of the child at least .

Thanks for the reply astroboy. And yes, the horoscopes were matched by three astrologers. All of them said that they can definitely proceed. This was an arranged marriage when both of them were pursuing their respective studies in different states in US. Is divorce indicated in the parents' charts or is it reflected in the baby's chart?
Also, can you comment on the baby's eighth house? any remedies or any poojas that the mother can perform?

Sai ji , You are kidding me right ?? Its not possible for these two horoscopes to be a match . I will enclose a detailed report . I cannot believe that somebody would have given a go ahead to this match .

Honestly, I am not kidding. One of them said that they got only 19/36 points but anything above 18, you can proceed and do the rest of the compatibility based on the horoscopes and the final verdict was a go ahead. Please do not make me depressed by sending me the incompatibility details

excellent . let by gones be by gones . Like I said , there is a kid Involved . Please advice the girl to wait for his Sade Sati to end and then give him a additional 6 months for him to mend himself . Let her take a decision after that .

Thanks. As she says, the limit of her patience has found new heights in the past five years after her marriage . She is an extremely strong believerin GOD and believes whatever happens, happens for the best. We may not realize it when we are passing through hard times (in our dictionary). Please can you comment on the son's eighth house and any indication of parents divorce from his chart?

Sai ji , Let us not go to comment on the child's chart now . The child is still under the parents care . All I will say is the the 8th house is not all that bad because of a Parivarthana yoga between Budha and Kuja along with a exalted 12th lord's presence in the 8th . Yes the alignment looks scary no doubt , But the exaltation and the Parivarthana yoga should take care of things .

Raised a valid point. My guess is that the astrologers made a simple Ashtakoot matching and let go at that. Never did an in deapth matching of the two charts. Anyway, you are right - what's done is done.

The point is to use this as a example and refine our matching technique and help others from falling in the same trap as you have . There is an Astami dosham as Rahu is the lord of this tithi. Get this dosham remedied through priests as it is very important for the girls successful life.
Rahu is placed in the 6th house the house of enemies in the dhanus rasi and the lord of this rasi Jupiter is placed in the 7th house in Makara and in neecha.
Her UL is with Sun and Mercury which is an excellent position for the native as the marraige would happen in a very large family and in the native spouse would be from a high society and he would be very knowledgable.The status of the native would increase after the marraige.

On second thoughts Swamy cool ji , It could also be a valid point that the woman has managed to hang on though 5 and a odd years of marriage simply because they score 19 points in the Guna Milan . I feel that there would have been some sweet moments in the marriage too . Its cannot be a total wash out .
