What does being Manglik mean? I know how it is calculated , as in mangal being in 1, 2, 4... etc houses in D-1, but what does it mean?

I dont know about how strong, but mars in 4th house is supposed to be manglik as far as i have heard.
Please tell me, does manglik have any positive effects too, other than negetive ?

Who any planet will behave inany particular house , depends pon somany factors, such as lordship, house occupied relaltion with others planets and house lords, strength of the chart as a whole and that of the planet in consideration etc .
2- Managlik or Mangli ,is not mentioned in nay of the old Sanskrit books on astrology and seems to have been introduced inrecent past ,but has gained momentum.
Mars is a natural malefic and thus some adverse effects can be generated , unless it is hold in controle by some strong benefic.
3- As your query – Mars in 4th , if not influenced by any beneficor if not a Yoga karak either , can creat problem for mother and disturb family ambiance, cangive accident and disputes related to landor other property,
4- In your chart – Marsin4th is n cancer, its sign of debilitation- but it is aspected by the 4th lord Moon and Mars is in own sign in navamsa chart and being ascendant lord occupying a Kendra , becomes Yoga karak and should not creat harm under these circumstances. But it is lord of 8th house , also thus some problem in domestic life cannot be ruled out,
5- There are several antidotes for the so called Mangli0 dosah and here it beingaspected by the lord of signoccupied eliminates the dosha

Are there any positive effects of manglik also known besides only negetive effects? How can mars in 4th house make a person engineer??I beleive there could be other reaons in the chart too or no??
