Dear Arjun,
Itis simply a misfortune that a baseless exercise that of Chart matching has gained momentum inour country. In fact there is no justification nor it stands to any logical reasoning, because the whole execcise is based on Mon sign ,and having no considerartion of the astrological principles viz strength of the chart , contribution of Karak Venus, or 7th h house or its lord ,influence of other planets or else , but parents ,particularly in your community are not prepared to listen anything against it . yOU .yourself can observe it from the life of those around you or in your relations
2- Even in old Sanskrit books, which have been translated in other languages , it is clearly given that where girl and boy know each other and family or social background suits , one need no go in Chart matching.
3-If you understand the basics of astrology , I would suggest you to read all about it in my book - YourStars and Married life, a panoram' published by Sagar Publication , 72 Ved Mansaion , Janpath , New Delhi, Ph- 23320648 email- [email protected].
