persistent arm pain

Hi-

For the past one year I have been having persistent pain in my arms (near my elbow and down my forearm). I saw many doctors about this and they determined it was tendonitis (inflammation of the muscle). The odd thing is that it started in the right arm and then when I tried to overcompensate with my left, I got it there, as well (although right arm is still worst one). I have tried many different treatment options but none of them really provided any long term relief.

My friend, who is a doctor, suggested that it might not be tendonitis because even after resting it and trying different treatments, it does not get better. He thinks it might be a nerve entrapment issue. I have not been able to see my doctor about this theory yet but I wanted to get astrologer's opinion on which of these it could be depending on my chart.

Please see my chart and let me know if I am prone to muscle injury or nerve issues. I am also having pain in my left leg (I think it's sciatic nerve) for the past one year so I am wondering if the arm pain is also due to nerve problem.

But i got this problem when i was finishing Rahu dasa... And i have tried medical treatment but nothing works. Thats why i wish to know if i am prone to nerve problem or muscle problem-- then i would know how it should be treated. Right now doctors do not know which it is. So i have asked this question here to see which thing i am prone to...

Your 3rd lord Mercury is weak by debilitation makes your prone to problems of arms and fingers.
Next couple of months can give further problems.

There are ways of determining which part of the body gets efflicted because of the transit of star from the respective Janma Nakashtra

In your case:

Your rasi is Makara rasi and as on today ie 19-11-2010 the following planets are transiting Sun, Mars and Mercury and it is in the 11the from Natal lagna and 6th from Transit lagna which is Mithuna.

Sun is placed in Anuradha star as on today
Mars is placed in Jyesta star as on today

Now from your Natal Moon star which is Sravana if we count the stars of Anuradha from Sravana the count will come to 23 it represents Left hand.Here we have taken the star where sun is placed

Then if we take Jyesta from Sravana we get the No 24 and being Mars transiting this star it represents the right hand.

When Mercury become a part of this conjunction of Planets Mercury also becomes malefics and Mercury represents nerves. Hence the two hands are effected because of the nerve related problems.

All these planets are transiting the 6th house the house of diseases from the transit lagna which is Mithuna.

Thank you so much for your reply, Uma ji... was a similar transit also in effect last year at this time? I began developing this problem in Nov 2009 but it has continued on until now. And would it get better any time soon?

Hi

If you see the transit at that time Sun and Mercury was transiting Anuradha star which is coming to No: 23 from Sravana your Moon star. 23 Nos represents the left hand side. So at that time the ailment started from the left and gradually ended to the right hand

Correct me if I am wrong

In fact if you see the d-8 chart the transit of Jupiter is also not good as it transiting the 3rd house from the lagna which is not good. 3rd House represents hand and Jupiter being the Akash tattwa would expand the diseases.

Jupiter is the lord of the 8th house which is considered as a long term diseases which would take long to get cured

Even in your natal chart Jupiter is badly placed in the 3rd house . So would get issue with respect to hands most of the time.

Jupiter is placed in sravana nakshatra which is Moon and you have to pray to Moon in order to reduce the problems associated with the planet.

In natal chart Jupiter and Moon are in 7th.. or were you referring to its position in d-8 chart?

I am wearing a white sapphire for moon and pink sapphire for mars and jupiter since past 1 yr.. should I chant "Om Mam" every day or only during Shravana transits?
