Now let us see how a full blown Kuja chandra yoga works when he is with a benefic like Guru, Even though debilitated but Gains Neecha Bhanga several times over.
Subject is driving on a new 4 lane highway at 140 Km. It's 2.20 in the hot afternoon sun in Mid April. The driver spots a Dog lying on the other side of the road ( across the divider). Driver decides to investigate and turn's around. The new Highway has a divider, so he has to drive in the reverse direction for 3 km. The subject discover's that the dog has been hit by a vehicle. The back is broken and the dog is paralysed. She is slowly dehyderating herself to death. Subject realises that the dog if left there will die a slow and agonising death. So his "kuja Chandra" yoga kick's in, there are no human's around...... Its a dry desolate place . There is no chance of having any Vet's any were around to put down the dog, He realises that he would have to do it himself. Subject carries the dog to the car's trunk, feed's it some water, says a quick prayer and shuts the boot. He finds the next interchange and get's on to the direction he was originally going. Subject drives for sometime, Find's a spot, takes the dog out, Places it's head on the road with it's body off the road, he tun turns the car, goes back 4 km and turn's again. Then he ram's the pedal to the metal and zoom's toward's the Dog's head. God is a cruel being he decide's, It's his job to do what he has to do ...." Give it a quick and peaceful death he say's to himself " Tear's roll down his eyes as he thinks this ......... he say's to himself " why god why ........ why do you play these dirty games with us ???" But he has no time , the head is fast approaching now, He has a job to do, He puts the gear shift to Manual from auto mode and shifts it two gears down. The engine, all 1900 CC and 105 BHP lurches into action and leaps at full throttle, a minor bump, and a life is gone ...... a job done by 1.8 tons of steel and 205/16 tyres at 165 Km. Rest in peace my friend..... I hope you will return that favour someday. God bless you.

can this aspect be formed by Mars special aspect on the Moon or do they need to have mutual aspect?
ie, Mars in Cancer aspecting Moon in Libra or Aquarius.

By constellation, do you mean sign/house, or is this something else like Nakshatra constellation?Shashi Mangala or / kuja Chandra occur's when " Moon and Mars or rather Kuja and Chandra occupy the same constellation, By conjunction and by aspect.

I understand that Kuja and Chandra has to be in the same house for the yoga to occur. However, what would be the effect if it is just an aspect?
My Example:
Mars in 8th House Capricorn Aspects Moon in 3rd house Leo. However, Jupiter in 9th House Aqaurius aspects Moon in 3rd house Leo.
Do you think that there is any effect? My Jupiter is also retrograde BTW.

A yoga reaps its full effects when it is placed in a kendra , and by extention a Trikona . A yoga emitting from the 8th is not great , even though the planet participating in the yoga is exalted . But let me tell you , This yoga is not a purely good one . It does have a malefic tinge to it . The defination of the yoga will give you the answer . I would say yes , You will get the trickle effects of the Yoga .
