Good day to you,

I will first give you the definition of Shashi mangala Yoga and then explain it's nuances over a period of time.

Shashi Mangala or / kuja Chandra occur's when " Moon and Mars or rather Kuja and Chandra occupy the same constellation, By conjunction and by aspect. If the Yoga happen's in a good house particularly the elevated houses ( 9/10/11) and the moon is bright and powerful this yoga can contribute considerably to the natives financial status especially if it is a night birth.In a male horoscope this yoga connotes gain's through women. If the yoga is afflicted ( Occur's in houses 6/8/12 ) and is aspected by Malefics/ or no aspects by benefics, It mean's exploitation of women ( all things being equal)

The person deals with drinks, crude instruments and women. There is disobedience to the mother. This is a combination for good earnings and accumulation of wealth, although the means to achieve these ends may not necessarily be legitimate,or be appealing to the base-needs of men, unless this configuration achieves an aspect from Guru.

This yoga can be good for wealth and at the same time be bad. Never should a yoga arise from a Malefic. All yoga's should arise from benefic's alone. My Guru say's In kannada " Kuja yeshtu kodthane, asthe thegithana" Meaning, "however much Kuja give's he will ensure that he extract's his pound of flesh. "


Kuja Chandra yoga individual's act like donkey's some times. They act like they have no "Brain's". They cannot see a woman cry, But at the same time, give them a gun and they are ready to shoot a arrogant woman. They hate arrogance. some time's they destroy in second's what they patiently built over several year's. After Ruchaka mahapurusha yoga and Shasha Mahapurusha Yoga, This is the Most dangerious Yoga to have in a horoscope. The native will never lack money. I know of a person with this yoga whose girlfriend went to his father and said, "ask your son to marry me, I will make him a "king". When the person came to know of this he promptly asked his girlfriend to "take a flying $#%$ " . In this man's horoscope you will find Guru is with Chandra and Kuja.Note that Guru has Modified the yoga to a great extent.

No, It's not the case She will not get wealth from her inlaws / she will never take it. . The subject will create her own wealth. If not she will have ancestor's wealth with her from the time she is born.

when Kuja and Chandra are severely afflicted, Worst case scenario's are women who run brothel's and whore's who have younger women under them. But that need's other affliction's to support this yoga

Yes, chandra-mangal yoga definitely seems to be a wealth creating yoga. Many famous people also seem to have it, eg:
Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie,
Jennifer Anniston,
President Sarcozy
.......and I'm sure there must be many more.

Btw, I knew someone who had a Chandra-Mangal yoga in Mithun rashi and Ardra nakshatra. He is a gynaecological pathologist and has made a lot of wealth from his profession. Don't know what house the yoga is in, but I thought it's interesting to note that he has made his wealth from a profession related to women.

This is the horoscope of Jeffrey Dahmer who was an American serial killer and sex offender. Now let's see Kuja and Chandra together. Kuja is the 3/8th lord along with the 11th lord. The 11th is the highest of the Kama Trikona's. Kuja is in Uttara Bhadrapada ruled by Shani. " the negative trait of this nakshatra is that they have issues with anger, passion and agression. They are secretive and cunning. Their primary motivation is Kama which can cause some addiction problems with sex drugs and alchohol. The fact that Kuja sit's in Shani's nakshatra being the 8th lord is a recipe for disaster.

Once Kuja and Chandra come together, The mind is taken over or at least influenced by Kuja to a great extent. The hamsa Mahapurusha yoga has gone to the dog's except for it's bad side. " People with this yoga have a "insatiable sexual urge" when Guru is afflicted.

What Does Kuja symbolize ???
Sexual imagery, blood and blood sport, flesh, animal instinct, intense control, forcible or aggressive control, aggression, Transformations , sudden changes,hunting, weapons..

Now I shall present a complex case of Kuja Chandra Yoga where Kuja's is in his own house, is a yogakaraka. Note chandra is neecha here.

Subject is an American serial killer active between 1974 and 1978. He escaped twice from county jails before his final apprehension in February 1978. Bundy was executed by electric chair for his last murder by the state of Florida in 1989.

ok lets get on with the show. The Horoscope belong's to Theodore Robert Cowell , Popularly called "Ted Bundy".

Now let us see how a full blown Kuja chandra yoga works when he is with a benefic like Guru, Even though debilitated but Gains Neecha Bhanga several times over.

Subject is driving on a new 4 lane highway at 140 Km. It's 2.20 in the hot afternoon sun in Mid April. The driver spots a Dog lying on the other side of the road ( across the divider). Driver decides to investigate and turn's around. The new Highway has a divider, so he has to drive in the reverse direction for 3 km. The subject discover's that the dog has been hit by a vehicle. Give it a quick and peaceful death he say's to himself " Tear's roll down his eyes as he thinks this ......... he say's to himself " why god why ........ why do you play these dirty games with us ???" But he has no time , the head is fast approaching now, He has a job to do, He puts the gear shift to Manual from auto mode and shifts it two gears down. The engine, all 1900 CC and 105 BHP lurches into action and leaps at full throttle, a minor bump, and a life is gone ...... a job done by 1.8 tons of steel and 205/16 tyres at 165 Km.
