please give me a clear idea about mars and saturn

I am a beginner learing astrology. I have a doubt. i read it in texts like saturn and mars are enemies. then how come mars is exalted in saturns house? how can mars feel so happy when he is in the house of an enemy... learned astrologers please help me understanding this... please.. if i am wrong please do correct me..

Mars is a warrior planet.. now where does a warrior feel gud?? its in the battle field where he can fight the enemy.. Saturn is the bitter enemy of mars. So mars feels really good in the house of saturn where he can fight. it is a battle ground for him . That is why mars is exalted in makara..
