The current year has been extremely difficult to retain my spirituality. Since I have gotten into a relationship and married, I have forgotten all my roots about God, and religion. I feel like I am trapped in this social life which is inevitable for everyone as this is our primary purpose of birth. Its not that I don't want to but it seems like I am so occupied with Life. I respected my parents so much but lately things have gotten worse and there is no mutual respect. I feel like I am a bad child to them. I have treated them so bad too. Astrologically, can someone explain this?
I am wondering if ever in the future I'll be able to regain this spirituality. Can anyone take a look at this chart.

Dear Vidhya,
The sun which signifies spirituality in ur chart is in the 4th alongwith ur lagna lord. This is a good combination and ur falling out is only temporary. U r running the period of rahu-sun and rahu afflicts the sun terribly. Moreover, the dasa and bukthi lords are 6/8 to each other in moon bukthi things will improve and things will be much better in Jupiter dasa as Jupiter is placed with Kethu in scorpio in a spiritual sign.
The 4th lord jupiter representing the mother having kendrathipathiya dosha is in the 12th to 4th with nodal affliction, the 9th lord though in his own house is in the star of Jupiter and afflicted by the presence of exalted saturn who is also the 6th lord.
If u can strive hard u can patch up with them as the afflictions do have some redeeming factors.

Wow, that is very good piece of information. Now that will definitely give me confidence once again to keep my spirtualistic pursuits higher. Life comes at us in different shapes and sizes. At any given time, we get tackled with several different obstacles. But if our religious believes are questioned, we loose our confidence.
I think in the end that's all it matters. The material comforts will be left behind. We will move on from this body to the next. But our soul will remain the same carrying our karmas.

You can propitiate jupiter by chanting brihaspati mantra. You can chant Dakshinamurthy stotra if you can. Visiting dakshinamurthy temple on thursdays can also help. You can chant the guru portion of Vyasa's navagraha stotra. Try to observe a vow of silence either in the mornings or in the evenings every thursday. Never ever try to demean people who are conventional. Any one of these can be done to propitiate Jupiter.

Benefics owning the 7th and 10th will give more dosha because the kendras become more and more powerful in the order of ascendance. The 10th is the most powerful kendra. And if you want to proitiate Jupiter, pray to lord dakshinamurthy without fail on every thursdays. Cutting down on oil and very spicy food could be a form of preventive measure.

If Jupiter is placed in his own house or exalted and also placed well in vargas then the kendradhipathiya dosha will loose its potency to a great extent.
But according to a siddha by name Pulipaani he says that the kendradhipathiya dosha of Jupiter will loose its significance if placed in trines and unafflicted for Mithuna lagna people. Now it is you who should find out as to how the same jupiter has acted in your chart and come to a conclusion.
