Hi-
I am trying to calculate the correct upapada lagna I am currently under but I am getting very confused. I know there are certain rules and exceptions and I don't really know if I am doing it right. I had always thought my first UL was in Sagittarius (6th house) but then I used one program and it told me it's in Virgo (3rd house). I thought it was just a mistake but then I read online about some exceptions (about calculating to 10th and 4th) and this made sense... however, I'm not sure if this is a correct system to use.
If someone can please see my chart and let me know which UL I am currently running I would really appreciate it. My first relationship did not work out; I had decided to marry one person after that but later decided against it and ended it; and now I like one person and am considering him for marriage. Hence, I would need to know if the third UL is the correct one or if this second person would even show up as an UL considering it was a very brief relation. Based on my original calculations, my first UL would be Sagittarius, my second would be Cancer and third would be Aquarius. Please let me know if this is correct.

That's little difficult also as he has also had more than one relation so i am unable to figure out UL for him.

Your second UL is Aries . The person you are going to marry is proudy . short in height . He may be related with engineering type Job. He is very brave. he will reside in the foreign country.His eyes are round.
Surely you will marry this person whose DOB is 13 dec 1982.

One more question regarding current UL in Aries: I notice that 2nd from UL is ruled by exalted Venus altho it is aspected by Saturn from 5th house and also by benefic Jupiter from 7th house.. and 8th from UL is Saturn in Scorpio. Does this mean that the marriage will sustain although it will be little delayed and has few obstacles before coming to fruition?
Kindly let me know how to interpret this...i am still a novice in astrology.

In her chart ( 17 /3/1985 ) 2nd UL Aries has Mars and saturn aspects by Rashi dristi on Aries. The boy Lagna is Aries and exalated sat and Mars aspect the Aries Lagna .
So marriage is destined to this boy without failiture. But her 2nd UL has Rahu too . Results for this rahu is , the boy may be dark in complexion or different caste.
But exalated venus is in 12 house . This house planets from UL shows that who oppose the marriage. For example , in her chart , in 12 H from UL exalated Venus . So boy's sisters may oppose the marriage . Surya also there ( 12 H from UL ) . This may shows boy's father maight oppose the marriage. Otherwise sometimes this may tells that the boy has no father or sisters.

Thanks for clarification. His elder sister is still unmarried so he cannot marry until she does. Therefore, as u said, sister is in a way in opposition or is posing as an obstacle to the marriage. It's very accurate i'm glad to know it will ultimately go forward.

Siva my First UL has Rahu and is in pisces... Girls was from different caste... But it broke up in 2years.. Now as u say 8th from the first UL ..It has Venus in Libra in the 5th house... Wat should i expect... Wat should be the prediction..
