Dear astrologers:
I am stating the fact that the following major events all happened during my first 7.5years saturn:
finished my masters as topper
joined for PhD and finished PhD
had my upanayanam
Had my first profession as scientist where I am still working
one of my sisters got married which was otherwise getting delayed
another married sister joined her husband in Canada which was long pending
my mother was saved in a very major operation
my brother was cured of some severe sickeness of the mind
How to explain this, my lagna and rasi being vrishchika? None of the planets are in the star of sani, in fact they are in stars of sun, moon, mars, and budha.Lagna is in sani's nakshatra though.
Please explain this.

You really got me there. I had to really bang my head to the wall to come up with a appropriate answer. Please correct me if i am wrong, You have to agree that all this was no cake walk. It is you own sheer effort against the tide that has landed you where you are today. So why has he spared you? because he is in Makara, his favorite house. Kumbha might be his Moola trikona but legend says that Lord Shani meditated on LOrd shive for 10.000 years before he could become the owner of Makara.
You might not know this, but 7 planets in Shani's own house is a Raja yoga by itself. all of then are inthe 3rd house, The "house of Self development" In his 7.5 years he drove you to a frenzy where you had no other go but drive and push your self to the limit. Try and remember the sleepless nights you have had motivating your self to achieve some thing in your life, to prove to your self and the others that you are worth it.
Please note Chandra is not as debilitated as you think he is, first of all he is in Kuja's house. Kuja is exalted in his best friend's Nakshatra and is with his best friend Ravi the 10th lord. then Chandra is in Budha's Nakshatra. Budha is exalted in the Navamsha. Chandra gains immence power by his placement, he is the strongest planet among the 9. Note all the planets aspecting the 9th house of good fortune. what more can you ask for.
But, there is always a but, he took away one aspect of your life. whether you wish for it or not is debatable, he took away marital happiness. Lord Shani is Shani after all. That according to me is your biggest hit in the entire 7.5 years of Shani. what is the point if there is no one to share your success with you dear sir,

I have known a guy with vrishchika lagna & Sa in own house, doing gud during sadesati. sa does not harm natives when exalted, or own house, whichever the lagna during sadesati. it also spared if with makar moon rasi is there...i have seen such examples in life.

Actually speaking, I did not have much problem at all in most of these happenings.
Joining research, I just attended an interview and answered well and got selected.
I had some delays in sukra rahu period in my research during research but then I went and prayed to Lord Venkateshwara and he helped me.
Job, I saw the advt and applied and got selected, I answered well though.
Upanayanam was planned and it happened as per plan.
There was nothing that was difficult to achieve among this. Of course for PhD I put efforts which I always do, but it was not difficult though.
Only my mother's operation was unexpected but that too happed and was successful with God's grace and though even the best of Docters said her chance of survival is 10% since she had strangulation, she survived.
In fact, even when some astrologers say, chandra is debilitated, I dont actually agree. It is because sukra-chandra was a good period which saved my mother, I love my mother the most and also it helped my sister get married, I joined for reasearch in the prestigious IIT and so on. In its bukti it was always helpful.
Also, chandra being a feminine planet also gives musical skills, I have musical skills which has given me fame too, I give concerts. Also I can do all that a lady does, though I am a man, I can cook very well, draw rangoli, keep house clean and so on.
The marriage part, no attempt was made during seven and half years saturn in fact, so I feel it was not due to sani may be. It was tried during suk bu or suk ketu which failed after engagement since the girl had health issues, then again in surya rahu it failed, these periods did not correspond to saturn at all.
