Hello,

I wish to gain some insights on my chart with respect to marriage prospects.

I am an Aquarius ascendant with Saturn sitting in my first house. I understand there are malefic aspects on the 7th house with Saturn and South Node (Ketu) aspecting it, and Mars itself in the 7th house.
Venus is also in conjunction with the North Node (Rahu). 7th lord Sun is in 10th house which is also aspected by Saturn.

Do you see marriage for me or am I doomed to be single forever? If yes to the former, what could be the probable windows? Could it happen in Mercury’s Mahadasha which is nearing its end in 2 yrs? Or in Ketu-Sun period?

The mutual aspect between Saturn and Mars on the 1-7 axis indicates a Kshatriya (warrior) personality and potential delays in marriage. The 5th Lord, Mercury (signifying Purva Punya Karma), is positioned in the Mrityu Bhaga, and currently, the Mercury Dasha is ongoing. Presently, the Saturn Antar Dasha is running.

To pacify Mercury, which is also the 7th Lord in the Navamsa Chart, recite the Vishnu Sahasranama daily. If daily recitation is not possible, aim to complete it within a week.

Hi,

A quick review of your birth-chart shows multiple afflictions (with Saturn/Shani-dev, Mars/Kuja and Rahu uncomfortably placed and potentially being detrimental to related significance - not to mention the fact that Saturn/Shani-dev, Sun/Ravi and current Maha-Dasha lord Mercury/Budha being placed very close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees) and some possibilities of you having feeling for somebody known to you and connected with your workplace. There are some possibilities of an unconventional relationship.

But then, you seem to have anger/temper issues and dominating personality. Upcoming Maha-Dasha lord Ketu has below par Vimsopaka Bala in Dasha Varga and does not seem to be benefic.

All said and done, it would help if you could provide some information about yourself (educational, professional and cultural background) to help set the context.

Sincerely...

There are prospects for marriage in your chart.

All the best.

If you have the right knowledge, EXACT predictions can be made. Astrology is an incredible tool for guidance, and one should take note of the energies of changing dasha lords.

The promise for marriage is too weak because of inauspicious Sun and Mars. Planets become inauspicious by their placements in different divisional charts. There is a yoga for marriage in June-July-2025, but prior remedies for Sun and Mars are needed.

Wow! You’re spot on here, hit the nail on the head I must say. There’s a connection at workplace that has not progressed much/materialised yet unfortunately due to major cultural differences. It is like a very strong karmic push pull situation that I have been stuck in for a couple years. Despite putting in efforts, it has kind of stalled.

As for my background, I am an engineer pivoting to finance, working in a multinational bank. I have strong academic qualifications, however, I am a late bloomer - it has taken me very long to get to where I am today professionally and yet it’s far from what my career aspirations are. I have felt a strong influence of Saturn in my life so far with goals/plans getting thwarted and a profound lack of career satisfaction.

When you talk about Mrityu Bhaga, does it indicate mortality or amplified negative influence of the planets in consideration? Does it indicate lack of marital bliss or relationships not materialising into marriage or a permanent alliance? Also, I presumed Ketu in the 3rd house in Aries wouldn’t be as malefic as it is in the other houses? Could you please shed some light on how my Ketu MD will be in terms of career and personal life?

Thank you so much for your time!

Even though there is hope for marriage there will be difficulties/ challenges due to afflicted 10th house. Timing would require more in-depth study and time.

All the best.

Engineering background was quite evident... would have helped to know branch/stream and motivation to pursue that... or the profession you are in. Given your temperament, I'm not necessarily surprised with your summary of the situation. But for the said afflictions, I'm inclined to think the reality would have been much different/better.

Mrityu Bhaga is the term used to highlight the placement of a planet/graha in a given sign. These placements in longitudinal degrees are different/specific for each planet, including Udaya Lagna or Ascendent and placement within the tolerance band of Trimsamsa is not really preferred. This is not necessarily associated with mortality or lifespan, unless Maraka graha/planets are afflicted by such placement.

It is said that graha/planet loses its energy at specific degrees of Mrityu Bhaga, within each zodiac sign and fails to deliver its intended results - if otherwise placed. When a planet resides in the Mrityu Bhaga (the death-inflicting portion of a sign), it doesn’t mean the death of the planet itself (or the individual). Rather, the planet’s purpose shifts towards causing pain and suffering akin to the concept of “Mrityu” or death.

Placement of 7th lord Sun/Ravi close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees does indicate challenges or issues in marital life/relationship. Placement of 5th lord Mercury/Budha as well close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees does give some hints with regards to issues/challenges with love-like relationship.

In my humble opinion, Ketu will be at his notorious best in giving you some pain, detachments (with family and loved ones), break in relationships, struggles etc. Offering special prayers or propitiating with unwavering faith, bhakti/devotion and strong sankalpa could help reduce the perceived impact.

Sincerely...
