Ninth House

In his book, Vedic Astrology Simply Put," William Levacy writes that, among other things, the ninth house signifies "God".

Is this commonly accepted among Vedic astrologers?

The following may be known from the 9th house:

Faith, wisdom, divine worship, religion, religious and philosophical beliefs, religious teaching, religious duties (dharma), meditation, intuition and forethought, places of worship and visit to shrines, sacrifices (yagna) and charity;

Religious and spiritual preceptor (Guru), father, wife's brother, brother's wife, grandchildren;

Higher education;

Fortune, luck, retaining one's affluence;

Long journeys, voyage, air travel, foreign travel;

Knees;

Etc.

According to Vedic Astrology, 9th houses among other things signifies matters pertaining to religion. I have not read any where that 9th house signifies God.

I believe Levacy is deceased but he claims so in his book.
