Hi,

The general rule is that if the antar-dasha lord is well placed in sign, in navamsa, from ascendant, from dasha lord, influenced by benefics, then it indicates good.

On the other hand if it is in a bad placement in sign, in navamsa, from ascendant, from dasha lord, influenced by malefics, has taken the role of maraka, it indicates bad.
