I would be much obliged if someone enlightens me about retrograde sub-lord in a natal chart. Like for instance, for the below male native;
13 November 1986

Gobichettipalayam - Tamilnadu - India
Latitude : 11° 27' 19'' NORTH
Longitude : 77° 28' 49'' EAST
The 7th cusp sublord is Rahu and is in the star of retrograde Mercury. Though Rahu signifies the 7th house, will the retrogression of Mercury deny marriage?
Also both Venus and Mercury are in the Sub of Ketu whose star lord Mars is signifying 1,6 and 10. Does it mean marriage is denied for this native.
Kindly help me understand the marriage possibility for this native. Really appreciate your time and contribution.

Retrograde planet rule is only applicable in Horary Chart and not Natal Chart.
Points to remember for retrograde planet in Horary Chart
A) If the primary cuspal sublord is retrograde but deposited in the nakshtra of a direct planet then the event will be delayed till the primary cuspal sublord turns direct.
example ---- if 7th cuspal sublord is venus(retrograde). Venus is deposited in revati nakshtra ruled by mercury(mercury is direct).
so in this case if there is promise of event then it will happen once the primary cuspal sublord turns direct.
B) If the retrograde sublord is in the nakshtra and sub of a retrograde planet then the event will be denied.
Example --- if 7th cuspal sublord is venus(retrograde). Venus is deposited in revati nakshtra ruled by mercury(mercury is also retrograde). Venus falls in sub division of jupiter(jupiter is also retrograde).
In this case all the three planets
Source Planet ---- NakshtraLord Planet ---- Sublord Planet all are retrograde, event will be denied.
C) If the Cuspal Sublord is Direct but in deposited in the nakshtra planet which is retrograde then the event will be delayed significantly.
Example - if 7th Cuspal Sublord Venus(direct). Venus is deposited in revati nakshtra ruled by mercury(mercury is retrograde).
In this case event will be delayed significantly.
D) If the Cuspal Sublord is in the Nakshtra of a retrograde planet and if in the horary chart the Maha Dasha is of this retrograde planet then the event is denied till the end of the Mahadasha of the retrograde Nakshtra Lord.
Example -- if 7th Cuspal Sublord Venus(direct). Venus is deposited in revati nakshtra ruled by mercury(mercury is retrograde) and in horary chart Mahadasa is also of Mercury, then the event is denied till the end of Mercury Mahadasa.

Let's verify the time of birth accuracy. As per the given time of birth that is 16.40 hrs, ascendant(lagna)(oneself) falls in sign of aries @8 degree 19 mins and 52 sec. 8 dgree 19 mins in aries falls in ashwini nakshtra ruled by ketu and sub division of Jupiter... so the lagna co-ordinates are

Regret to inform you that the marriage didn't materialize as expected on March of 2023 and the native is still single as on Dec 2024. Is it possible that the upcoming Sun dasha and Saturn antardasha will be fruitful for marriage event? Kindly share your opinion. Thank you.
