Prospects for a tenured job

Hi.
I am T.K.S.Thathachari. I presently hold a Master's Degree in Zoology and am presently preparing for government entrance examinations such as Staff Selection Commission and Railways. I had posted a query regarding my job prospects exactly a year earlier. As of that date, I have changed my career direction from pursuing a Ph.D. to preparing for a government job. The scope for a good Ph.D. wasn't available and there were several professional problems with regards to that. That is why I started preparing for govt. entrances.

A month ago, I was shortlisted for a govt. job but there are no chances of getting it. I am under duress because I have a strong sense of independence and am unable to get a good job. The feeling of guilt is constantly lingering in my mind . I have been working few online jobs through which I have earned pocket money but nothing more than that. Since the govt. job propsects are also bleak , I had also appeared for B.ed entrance examination this month hoping to compete for the teaching jobs. Can anyone please tell me is there any chance of me getting a govt. job for which I am preparing? A guiding direction would be a relief..
