I have read that a girls rasi should always be after the boys rasi. that is it has to be second to seventh for prosperous relationships.
also it says the further away the boys nakshatra is from girls better for the relationship for prosperity and longevity
However when you look at gun milap one notices say uttarshad nakshatra marries satabhish it gives 23 points of which 7 are from mahendra kuta. Mahendra kuta is meant to supposed to bring about prosperity and happiness to the couple.but third rasi from boys brings poverty and unhappiness they say!
however for uttarshad girl it says relationship best with revati or uttarabhadra boy, both being in pisces and 4th from girls rasi. also gun milap shows >29 points, how does this work?

Dear member Guna points ( Based on birth star ) works less than 30 percent in marital combination matters.
Other factors are very important . What r those other factors ? so many...
1) few Birth stars have basic qualities . For example Sattabisha is bad for womens' marriage life. But not to men.
( for this u can read BPHS Visha Kanya Dosha stars.) Also check known people's chart.
2) Suppose your Lagna is Libra then if a girl has Moon in Libra sign , you / she will love you.
3) If the girl has Sun in Libra , her Atma will co-operate with you.
4) Your Lagna has Mars then if a girl has Saturn in your ( Lagna ) sign , then bad. Sometimes worse.
5) Suppose your Moon is in the second house then a girl whose birth star lord is Moon ( Hastham / saravana/ Thiruvonam ) is very good to you
Because second house is for family ties.
7) Suppose you have Venus in the 7 house , then a girl with Venus star Lord ( Pooram / Bharani / Poorvabhadra ) is very good to you.
