Hello,
The dominant planet for marriage in my horoscope is saturn. It is my seventh lord in the eight house. I have read that this placement will give me an old spouse that is cold and unromantic towards me. This result is further confirmed since I have the exact same placement in navamsa.
Now, I'am afraid because I don't want to marry such a partner. Is there a remedy on how to avoid this fate. Or have I simply interpreted my chart wrong.

Please note that Saturn as seventh Lord doesn't mean an old spouse. It can also be interpreted as spouse who may be old in age or wise in terms of thoughts, understanding and her Outlook towards life will be much more wiser than you.
And you also have to look at other aspects and complete chart should also be analyzed for real results. Don't use a single placement for your analysis.

@Sujit For the past three years I have been chanting Om Namah Shivaya for at least 108 times daily, I hope this is enough meditation. I usually don't get angry. However if people insult me for no reason, I do get mad but this never leads to fights or anything. I also feel like I have no enemies.

@joyd How did you calculate my chart or what kind of software did you use. I have used Jagannatha Hora software and several other websites to calculate my chart. They all tell me I'am Cancer ascendant.
The reason why I got worried is because I know that Saturn delays marriage. This would mean that I will get married near age 30. My seventh house is empty and I have no planets that aspect the seventh house. Therefore the seventh lord becomes dominant and in my case it's Saturn. I have read somewhere that Saturn gives an older spouse who is cold and unromantic. So I came to the conclusion that near age 30 I will marry a cold and unromantic 40 year old woman. I simply cannot imagine why I would make the choice to marry such a partner. This conclusion didn't sound logical towards me. However navamsa confirmed the result. This really got me afraid of the future.
