My Birth Details: 01-February-1969 at 6:15 am, Vinukonda, India (79E45,16N3)
My Brief Background: Masters in Electronics Engg (1992) in India. Worked in pure IT 1992-2010. In the US since 1996. Did MBA (Entrepreneurship) 2005-2007 in the US. Moved into Finance/IT in 2010. Never got a real managerial position. Career-wise, not good since 2007 (Hoped career will improve during Venus Mahardasa that started in 2014). Married in May,1997. Son is born in 1998 and daughter is born in 2002. Constant job loss fear existed since 2015 (due to 3 different company acquisitions) and currently high.

Lagna is afflicted by Jupiter & Mars along with presence of Sun & Mercury. How have you been doing with respect to your health/diseases/accidents? Keep a watch on the upcoming Jupiter transit post Oct 2018 for your professional progress. Keep us posted with progress/comments.
Quick update: After constant talk of layoffs for the last 2+ years, finally our company announced shutting down of the location I work at - getting laid off end of 3rd week of December, 2018 ! Just FYI, I have a decent understanding of Vedic astrology as I have been trying to study for the last ten years (and have been observing for the last 25+ years). In my case, some astrologers told me that Venus mahardasa will be good (at least the second ten years) as the 10th / 5th lord and Yogakaraka for Makara lagna and talking about near term, Venus/Moon period from June, 2018 to February, 2020 will be a positive period.
So, I will continue to observe how my near term career future turns out and hopefully learn from it.
Also, just to give some context to my case, I have been working since July, 1992 (26+ years continuously without any breaks or layoffs that resulted in career breaks or financial losses) - how did the the afflictions you mentioned allow me to do that? It is true that my career growth was not good, but, my career hasn't been bad so far. In fact, my upcoming lay-off this December is due to my reluctance to relocate to a new location within the US.
