Please help me understand what combinations on a birth you consider for Mantra Siddi!
It's good to get it from a guru. I don't think its easy to find a guru to get one, considering this, how would you recommend an individual to go about acquiring it?
Do you feel siddi is an essential part of an Astrologer?
Apart from Mantra siddi, what other forms of siddis do you consider?

Mantra Bhava (pancham) indicates Mantra sidhhi.
The positions in Cancer,Leo and Pisces are fruitful.
However, one should not run for siddhis. Mantras (Keelit) can cause mental aberrations. Hence, a Guru is recommended during Sadhana. Mantra is like a potent energy which upon invocation lives with the Sadhak. Without this the predictions will never come out to be true.
The best way for mantra is to do nama Japa in a clean place everyday. Just do "Name chanting" on regular basis at a specific time everyday. Watch asauch niyamas carefully during chanting. Have love for supreme brahmin and help the people in suffering. This way, you can achieve any siddhi you want.
