If someone has already answered to your post, it cannot be removed anymore. Then you have to click "Edit" and delete all text that you wish to delete, and click Submit.

Dear all,
It is a permission problem that came with the new version. I am trying to figure out how to solve it.

The new permission system in phpBB 3.0 is quite cumbersome. It was not easy to find out what was wrong and where, but I guess I finally found it and it should be corrected.

Now everybody should have Edit / Delete right for their own posts, and the Edit & Delete buttons should be visible in the header of your own messages, provided that you are logged in. Please note: You can delete only a post which has not got any replies. If a post has got replies, it cannot be deleted.

Please report here if there are further problems with this.
