The 7th to a House represents the suddenness to that house, and the next house following would control the suddenness.
Examples :
7th to the Lagna, imparts suddenness to the Lagna. You can never know on a day to day basis what to expect from the world. Like Forrest Gump's mantra : Life is like a Box of Choclates, you never know what it is going to give you each day.
The 8th house following the 7th is the house of siege. It controls the vicissitudes of life, and tends to prolong life's each moment, which may be good or bad. If good, the windfall prolongs, if bad you do not know when you are going to get better days.
The 7th to the 11th is the 5th. It gives suddenness in gains. 5th sudden gains is more reliable than the 8th, because as just discussed about the 8th, the 8th can be a mixed blessing, and mostly bad because it is a dusthana.
The 6th following the 5th, wipes out the lady luck glamour and lustre of the 5th. It behooves you to concentrate on the nitty gritty details to get your daily job done, not just on a particular day, but everyday, engendering the term "routine".

Let's talk about the 5th, 6th and 11th houses.
The natural rulers are the Sun, Mercury and Saturn.
6th follows 5th and contols the 5th. 5th and 11th are opposite to each other.
Mercury tries to orbit the Sun quickly, to fathom the full characteristic of the Sun. This is like the Mercurial Person trying to make sense of the Surya (Sub) person. Yet Sun is a huge ball of fire representing the soul. All Mercury can do is to fathom each bit of the Sun each time it is iin a particular orbital position of the Sun - the molecules and atoms of the rays of the Sun that impinge Mercury at that particular point.
The 11th house governs vast knowledge, like a spiritual master. Yet 5th, being 7th to the 11th, shows each of us can be our own spiritual master at any point in time. For example we walk past the varsity ground where there are pockets of students sitting around the park studying, chatting etc. Suddebly we sit down on the grass patch in one of these groups of students and start meditating and reading the scriptures. The students ask what you are doing. You instsntly have an audience. This is an example of "Suddenness".
