Hi Learned Members
According to Lal Kitab, the 6th house is Ketu's Puccha Graha Stanth meaning his place of kingship.
Ketu does well on the 6th is mostly related to the fact how it mingle its energies with the karakas of the 6th but of course these are not the only factors.
(1) Ketu is the flag which stands for victory so does well in Uppachayas which means things get better as time passes. On top of that, 6th is an Earth house and Ketu is related to Mars which is the main karaka of the 6th and is son of Bhumi, the Earth, thus one of Ketu's colours is brown and earthy tones. Therefore Ketu is at home in the 6th.
(2) Ketu crystallizes Mars energy, a karaka of the 6th.
(3) Ketu gives divine knowledge to Mercury, a karaka of the 6th, to tackle practical matters.
(4) Ketu gives dignity to the Sun, a karaka of the 6th standing for organisational ability, in that the Sun rules with a firmer hand.
(5) Ketu gives Saturn the ability to stand back and look at the work he is doing, and let go when it it is not in the best interest to carry on. Saturn stands for hard work in the 6th, but sometimes one need to let go, to finish off a quality of work, that will serve the best interest for everyone in the long run.
(6) Ketu in the 6th knows how to do work productively with the optimal energy and effort. It represents organising things as you go about doing work.

Mars is the karaka for enemies. So since ketu crystallises Mars energy like I said above, ketu here gives invincibility, so no enemies. They are either won over (whatever the reason including fear, ketu analyses the other person's motives very precisely including whether the person has guts) or they have pay homage to the person or can face utter destruction (ketu's scheming can be underhanded because it rules and is exalted and since it rules Sagittarius, which it is his Moolatrikona sign as well, it also has knowledge of warfare - the difference between exaltaion and Moolatrikona is that in the former, the resources and skills are called for when the appropriate time comes, but since ketu also rules Scorpio, it becomes second nature to him, Moolatrikna means the sign that grants official and accomplished skills to the planet ).
Saturn is the karaka for diseases. So just like work, ketu can relinquish the disease that was caught in the first place. So the person is cured. It is just like poverty where Saturn is the karaka. Ketu in the 6th makes the person rich after some period of time.
Mercury is the karaka for usury. Ketu gives divine skills to Mercury. The person goes into this line of business and makes big profits out of it.
