My data: 18/05/66 @ 21.30 at Madurai, Tamilnadu. Sagittarius ascendant, Venus, Sat in 4H, Mars,Moon, Mercury in 5H, Sun, Rahu in 6H, Jupiter in 7H and Ketu in 12H. Had a very good Mars MD during 2002-2009 and got turn around in my career - moved from Gov to MNC and benefited in financial and good global experience.
From 2009, when Rahu MD started, career slowed down and all of sudden, i had job loss in 1st half of 2014. i got into job with compromises (different line, package etc) in 2nd half of 2014. Since then, i am mentally stressed on lack of support, yet i have done best than others to the company. In June 2017, we lost running project and funds dried up, scare of Job loss is back and real.
i am looking for root cause of my current situation and way forward to come out of this state. Looks, myself come under Dwisaptati sama dasa ( Lagna lord is placed in 7H ) and not sure whether it matter to me or not?

You got a good lagna lord in 7th house which has helped you to go foreign lands. Then Saturn in 4th is also favorable for short travels abroad. There are some developments happening in your chart from March 2018 onwards. It can bring some changes, travel, training.
Professional matters are not strong this year. Somehow try to manage. Good luck.

Thanks Swarnnim Ji for your encouraging words. "to let you go back to your roots" is very intriguing sentence and not able to decipher. Could you explain a little bit more about it.
Also, Job problems was not forecast so for on my chart during earlier local consultation. that too, at this age. How is my chart support for my employment in future, as i need to work atleast for another 10 yrs to fulfil my duty.

i am novice in astrology, intrinsic interest in these kind of things and trying to understand it from various sources available in internet. Based on correlated to my own life experience, i felt Mars, Moon planet periods (MD) is good, Saturn (support in tough times) and Jupiter (No influence on transits), Sun (Tough times) By Recent times, i put Ketu along with Sun.
Not sure of Venus, Mercury, Rahu.. Though Rahu is in 6H (suppose to be good placement) and it is in this period, my troublesome period started and it has long 18 yr Dasa. Is Rahu alongwith Sun in 6H make it bad?
Pl clarify, as per chart, which planets are auspicious and malefic; Going forward, Which Dasa period (MD and AD) will do good to me?
Other than employment, is any scope of doing other income sources - Stock market, Teaching services, Astrological services (in future) or business partnerships etc?

Jupiter, the planet of Dharma and True Self, is the only planet placed clearly outside Rahu-Ketu axis. Its mutual relation with Ketu is responsible for the deconditioning stage going on for spiritual upliftment.
Saturn ensures that you get decent means of livelihood, so have faith in the system.

At start of Rahu dasha, any specific event took place related to father (or even mother, but more likely to be father)? Sun is suffering grahan dosha with Rahu in 6th house.
Saturn Venus conjunction in 4th house could have given multiple properties, real estate earning (i.e. rental income, property sale, inherited estate). But Mercury Moon Mars combination in 5th house is troublesome in terms of mental restlessness, some unhappiness with children, and the like.

As my previous mail says, it is like slow poison and looks i reached dead end in career and peace of mind. Lost hope in the system and mentally drained. Nothing worked so for during last 16 months (actually started in Jan 2014). Don't know how to turn around and which way to turn.

The problems started in Rahu dasha as you said; it's normal for issues to start cropping up in Rahu dasha because that's the type of energy it is. Sudden job losses and changes is what it can cause.
In your chart Rahu is placed in the 6th house in the sign of Taurus, which is a good position for Rahu to be in, however it still will cause problems even more so if the other planets are not placed well and in your case Saturn in the 4th house is not good placement, your Rahu-Sat period was between 2014 till 2017. Now you are going through Rahu-Mer from 2017 to 2020 and your Mercury is also not well placed and also sitting with enemy planets. From 2020 after Rahu-Mer it will be better for you and you will get more positive results that you want, so that is from the Dasha point of view.
Looking at current transits, you have Ketu and Mars transit 10th house, Ketu transit in the 10th house is not good transit as it can bring job losses, job dissatisfaction or job changes, Rahu transit in 4th house also not good as it can give you mental issues, make you emotionally frustrated etc. After March 2019 things should improve for you a little bit and from Jan 2020 you will have to start putting in more effort in your job which you have at that time and you will have to work harder. From mid 2022, is when things improve for you in terms of what you want.

thanks for your view. But i have been going thru the pain since 2014 and you have advised to wait for 2022. Earlier in the same forum, there was some positive changes forecast but not seems in the pipeline. I don't know when and where it end ?

But before i had rahu, jupiter and saturn antar. i had job loss during far end of down trend Jupiter antar and unstable career, depleted financial of saturn antar phase. Dear TRR , try this propitiation.....
on any saturday go to a place which has vanni tree , which may even be outside a temple or with in a temple..and light two til lamps....[ellu vilakku] few til peices tied in a black cloth and immersed in sesame seed oil in front of it and also sprinkle a handful of rice flour all around the vanni tree ..Do ths parihara for three continuous saturdays with the sankalpa for a break and then give me a feed back..
