Dear seniors,
Pranam,

My chart: DOB: 04-07-1968; TOB: 17:55Hrs; Place: Rajahmundry, AP.
Lagna: Sagittarius; Raasi: Thula; Jupiter in 9th [Leo]; Saturn in 5th [Mesha, Neecha, vargothama]. Four planets in 7th place: Sun, Venus, Mars, Mercury. Current maha dasa: Saturn

Now I am going through Sat-Mars period (about 11 months). I might lose my job due to redundancy, have a few offers but they are not significnt in terms of reputation or salary. But have no choice for now. Few good offers are here and there, but not able to get them so far. One employer told me to wait until February for their advertisement to come up.

Can you please comment on
1. my present dasa/ progress etc in general?
2. time period from Jan 2018 to Aug 2018?
3. possibilities to continue to have a job abroad? or better to come back to India and apply for a job?
4. How about Sat-Rahu period? Is it good or bad again? [ many years ago - Jup-Rahu is good period. Changed my job to low salary, but as project lead; purchased a nice apartment; at the end of this period in 2004, I got an excellent job again]

Thanks in advance, respectfully
Kumar

i don't find any job losing situations in your chart for another 4.6 years unless you have your own plans to change your job for a better pay scale..In saturn-jupiter bhukti you may have a sudden transfer from your present location.Management is in favour of you only.choice is yours.present time is good as per jupiter and saturn transits are concerned.

Dear Joyd,
Tlhanks a lot for your kind words. As you can understand - redundancy is a major cause for job loss and we do have in our company right now. Highly paid expats are the first targets always - this is obvious due to cost factors to the company. Our technologies got obsolete, young guys with little experience can handle the jobs. A good number of seniors already left, in fact they were made to leave. Now, it is my turn. As you can see from my post, I am prepared to get back to India with a lower pay. It is my obvious choice.

As you rightly indicated, a few bosses high up, asking me to stay on; and trying to show me various alternatives. But really head office can fire anyone anytime during the finance review meeting, which will happen in next month, end of this fiscal year. My last review has been excellent; and my past contributions over the years have been impressive. But at the end, nobody is invincible, I am just an employee. Even if I am retained, it will be lot of stress at work.

Keeping my job situation apart, your suggestions - "no prblems for another 4.6 years"; "present time is good as per jupiter and saturn transits"; are pointing to some positive developments for me.

How about Saturn-Rahu period? No specific comment on this aspect. Can you elaborate a little bit on that?

Thanks again,
Kumar

Kumar what this sentence means?

"no problems for another 4.6 years".Now you are clear for your raised questions in your reply [last 3 lines].

Dear Joyd,
I just re-wrote your sentences, nothing beyond. Sorry, I don't know how to use this site well; I really should have used your sentences with quote marks as others do.
Sorry if I caused any confusion.

However I really appreciate if you can look into my question, as your times permit:

How about Saturn-Rahu period? No specific comment on this aspect. Can you elaborate a little bit on that?

Best regards

Yes Joyd. Agreed. Just now I re-checked the dashas from another software and 4.6 years include this Sat-Rahu and Sat-Guru. However, as on date my exit from present job is on the cards; in fact 4 of my colleagues (including me) are mentally prepared to leave.

For me, no substantial or equivalent offers on hand as yet, though applied for many jobs all over the world. At this age, I am just waiting things to happen. Of course this forum is providing good insights into progress of human lives.

Will keep you all posted as things happen

Are you in India or abroad? How can you return back if not abroad? In your past message of Sep. 2015, you say that you had short-term posting (temporary job) in UK, but didn't go. So you went somewhere else?

Dear Suresh ji,
At present I am abroad, in one of the islands of Indonesia, very close to Singapore. But my job as design and maintenance engineer - involves extensive official tranveling. All was well from 2002 to 2015 - spent in the same job; travelled all over; but now our company is in red due to change in top management / ownership; and is now under downsizing.

yes I was in short-term posting in UK, made a big blunder in accepting that. At that time, I got a job with another company in one of the islands of Vanuatu, but did not accept. Also, got invitations (not final and firm offers) to apply from Canada and also Guam (US). But somehow I was blinded by some unknown factors, I did not accept the Vanuatu offer and also did not properly follow up with invitations/ offers. So I am bit discouraged with myself, the way I operated with my career options. Honestly, no regrets with US/ Canada jobs; never specifically interested, I am not a city man. Then, the immigration / visa process of US and Canada - very long drawn, tiresome.

Now there is a new offer from near by islands - Bangka Belitung; but I am told to wait until 2018 Feb to apply. Do you think, I can get this job? Nature of this job: work in unrecognized area, without any hitech resources; not challenging, but have to build the facilities from ground level. Responsibility on me is high. I am ready for this, as this is the only thing I have at present.

Please advice,
Kumar G
