I am seeing Parasara Light software giving different degree/minutes for same Ayanamsa & same birth details.
For my birth details PL gives - SUN 23:18:47 in Capricorn Navamsa but JH gives SUN 23:24:52 in Aquarius Navamsa.
Which is correct - 9-Aug-1969 Time 20:50 Place - Trichur, Kerala

JH uses swiss ephemeris . I do not know what is used by PL. All the ephemeris
are close to what NASA gives. The difference comes in ayanamsa and to some
extent the different ephimeris. Ephemeris from JPL is costly if one is going to
use it for commercial purposes.
In generel, the difference you have shown will not make much of difference for
prediction purposes.

vedicmaths - Thank you for you reply. PL website says "The calculation we used is based on the NASA JPL Ephermis".
In my case, SUN is Atmakaraka & hence my Karakamsa Lagna changes.

I am looking to get a soft copy of Lahiri ayanamsa so that I can implement some program of my own. However i am not getting any source of it. Swiss Ayanamsa is available but i don't know what's the logic to convert that to Lahiri. Do you have any suggestions?
