As Boris Johnson has backed out of the Conservative leadership battle to succeed David Cameron and Theresa May the Home Secretary, is the current front runner, it would be interesting to examine their horoscopes, including those of the other key players, who have moved to the centre stage in this crises, to throw light on the ongoing developments in the United Kingdom.

Theresa May was born on 1st October 1956 at Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK 50N46 0E17 h1E (DST) She is an October born like David Cameron, Sadiq Khan and Margaret Thatcher. Like Thatcher she has her Sun in Virgo (Sidereal) and Moon in Leo in Magha Nakshatra. She is deemed to be a principled politician and a capable administrator, holding the Home Portfolio since May 2010. She was the Chairman of the Conservative Party (July 2002 to November 2003) There is a physical resemblance and some characteristics of Thatcher.

Margaret Thatcher however had a more powerful chart ( http://www.astrosage.com/celebrity-horo ... -chart.asp) with Saturn exalted in Libra and Jupiter in Sagittarius in its own house. . Theresa May has her Saturn in Scorpio and Jupiter in Leo. Anthony Eden had both these planets in the same signs. Theresa May was in fact born when the Suez crises in 1956 had just begun and both Saturn and Jupiter had come back to the natal positions in Anthony Eden's horoscope. In Thatchers horoscope both Saturn and Mars aspect Jupiter. The same combination in found in the horoscope of Theresa May. In Theresa May's horoscope Saturn is conjunct Rahu and is in exchange with Mars in retrograde motion. People with these combinations could become autocratic when under pressure. Margaret Thatcher had her fall in Jupiter Mahadasa just after it started. At that that time transit Saturn was aspecting her natal Sun in a closed orb (1 degree). Theresa May has her Jupiter Dasa around 2020. (according to a noon chart). A rectified birth chart will give more clarity.

The Home Secretary, the Prime Minister and Mayor of London all have their Sun in Virgo (Sidereal). Saturn in Sagittarius could impact all their natal Suns whatever positions they may hold that point of time. London voted to Remain. England and Wales chose to Leave. London has a sizeable immigrant population. Theresa May in fact belongs to the Remain camp. How these elements pan out under the planetary influences in the immediate future is a subject that calls for analysis. This especially gains importance as the impact of the Brexit vote cannot be measured or comprehended at this point of time. There are rumblings in Scotland and Ireland. What is of perennial interest is how planetary influences have shaped and impacted these regions in the past and are likely to do so in the future.

Theresa May is probably the best candidate to lead under the current circumstances. She comes from from a relatively humble background, is known to be modest, low profile, effective and tenacious. Though she was in the Remain camp, she is known to be a Eurosceptic which allows her to work on both sides of the sharply divided Brexit spectrum. Over and above she is a woman of undoubted integrity and till date an effective administrator, all of which endears her to a majority of the party faithful. In her horoscope Jupiter is at 24 degrees, the degree occupied by Jupiter at the close of World War II and which has in its Jovian cycle come back to its natal position at the time of her ascent to power.

She has Venus, Jupiter and Moon in Leo and Sun and exalted Mercury in Virgo. Saturn and Mars aspects Venus Jupiter and Moon Mars aspects all the planets except Saturn and is in exchange Saturn. She was introduced to her husband Philip May in 1976 when they were both studying at Oxford. Philip May an Oxford Union President went on to become an investment banker and a fund manager. They were married on September 6th 1980 when both were only 24 years old. They married in the church where Rev. Hugh Blaiser her father was the Vicar. On 26th September 1980 Jupiter has moved into Virgo where transit Saturn was and where both natal Sun and Mercury are placed. Here there is a time lag of a few days.

Jupiter moved to Libra in 27th October 1981 leaving the Sun and Mercury under the influence of transit Saturn . In October 1981 her father Rev Hugh Blaiser died when his car collided with another near Oxford. A few months later her mother suffering from multiple sclerosis died leaving her an orphan at the age of 25. Her husband with whom she shares a close relationship was a 'rock' to her during the crises.

Currently Jupiter enters Virgo on11th August 2016 remaining there upto 12th September 2017 after which it enters Libra. In the meantime Saturn moves into Sagittarius aspecting her natal Sun at Virgo on 26th January 2017 and remains there up to 21st June 2017. After 21st June 2017 it moves back to Scorpio in retrograde motion, where it turns direct and moves out of Scorpio to again enter Sagittarius on 26th October 2017 where it remains till 24th January 2020. On a purely empirical basis the current period could witness progress and she could achieve progress enabling her to showcase her abilities till September 2017, with possibilities of challenges between January and June 2017. The period between October 2017 and January 2020 comes under a scanner. That should be a subject of analysis.

See her 10th lord from Moon is activated by Jupiter and Saturn. Jupiter is transiting on the Venus[10L] in Leo and Saturn is aspecting it from Scorpio. In the absence of time of birth I am unable to see the Dasha which is always the primary cause of an event.

It could very well be Rahu / Venus ( which it is according to the noon chart) which is often found during a very prosperous or peak periods (and sometimes a period of fall). At this stage it would just be trial and error. That would just be a post mortem. What the effort here, is to find out the events that are likely to take place in the period leading up to the elections , scheduled to be held in 2020. There are broad and unmistakable outlines provided by the events of the past, in the regions that constitute the United Kingdom, the European Union and even in the financial district at the heart of London and the city itself, which form the parts of the whole and the key characters and stake holders who are on the centre stage. These influences in some cases stretch across geographic boundaries and are intertwined with the fate of other countries. It is like attempting to solve a giant jigsaw puzzle. Best regards.

The Suez crises in which Prime Minister Anthony Eden of the Conservative Party suffered a
major setback which led to a breakdown in his health and his subsequent resignation occurred
between September 29th 1956 and November 7th 1956. Jupiter moved from 23 degrees Leo to 1
degrees Virgo. Saturn moved from 6 degrees Scorpio to 10 degrees Scorpio. Anthony Eden
resigned on 9th January 1957. Jupiter was at 8 degrees Virgo and Saturn at 17 degrees
Scorpio.

The imminent victory of the Conservatives, in the mid term poll, is likely to polararize the electorate further, setting the stage for events in 2018/2020 that could have a negative impact on both Theresa May and the Conservative Party.

Theresa May has a conglomeration of the influences of Saturn, Mars and Rahu in her horoscope which when tempered by Moon, Jupiter and Venus may have been helpful to her as a Home Secretary but could prove to be an Achilles' heel for her as a Prime Minister. It could lead to her Waterloo.

A deeper study of past events, in relation to the history of the United Kingdom, juxtaposed with her horoscope brings into relief certain startling conclusions.

Sadiq Khan the Mayor elect of the city of London was born on 8th October 1970 and David Cameron 9th October 1966.

What is interesting in the horoscope of Khan here is the placement of Sun and Moon in angles. A noon chart has his Moon in Sagittarius in the nakshatra Poorvashadha . Transit Saturn is now in Scorpio. This is the first leg of the Sade Sati. Transit Jupiter is in the 9th from the Moon, a transit, which when aided by directional influences brings victory and euphoria. That is the peak. Now Saturn moves closer to the Moon and Jupiter, in the days and months ahead moves into the 10th and 11th from Moon and on 11th October 2018 it moves into Scorpio into the 12th from Moon. Saturn at that time will be at 9 degrees Sagittarius aspecting his Sun.

The Dasa at that time for Sadiq Khan according to a noon chart will be Jupiter MD Saturn AD.
Around February 11th 2019 transit Saturn at 21 degrees Sagittarius will be closely Saturn will moving closely over Khan's Moon.

At that time Saturn will be closely conjoined his Moon and strongly aspecting his Sun in Virgo
Saturn's transit of the Nakshatras Poorvashadha and Uttarashadha of Sagittarius have coincided with landmark events in England and more especially in the City of London. Poorvashadha of course is known for violent or untoward events.

On 22nd November 1990, Margaret Thatcher stepped down from office after her party refused to back her in the second round of elections. At that time Saturn was at 27 degrees Sagittarius closely aspecting her natal Sun at 26 degrees Virgo. This was a result of a string of disputes including that of Britain's involvement in the European Union.

About 350 years ago when Saturn was at 24 degrees Sagittarius there was fire in the City of London known as the Great Fire. The event occurred on 2nd September 1666 (OS) (12th September 1666 (NS)), and was anticipated about 14 years prior to the event by the legendary astrologer William Lilly.

The transit of Saturn in Sagittarius after Jupiter moves into Scorpio could have negative repercussions on both the Mayor of London and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Just prior to the start of the Great Fire, London had witnessed the Great Plague (the severity of which was from May 1665 to February 1666) (roughly 19 degrees Sagittarius to 24 degrees Sagittarius) and with the Great Fire (September 1666) resulting in the decimation of nearly 1/4th of its population. The fire destroyed 80% of the city proper including 13000 house, 89 churches and 52 Guild Halls.

The transits of Jupiter Mars, Rahu and the other planets across the years serve as important sign posts.

The current transit of Saturn in Sagittarius (Sidereal) at this point of time is not congenial for the city of London and by default to the United Kingdom.

The current incident on London Bridge and the Borough Market is the third recent attack in the United Kingdom and the second in the city of London.

The first attack occurred on March 22nd when a terrorist drove his car into a pavement of Westminster Bridge killing 4 and injuring over 50 people, killing an unarmed police officer before being killed by the bodyguard of the Defence Secretary. On May 22nd there was a second attack when a bomb was detonated in the exit area of Manchester Arena by a suicide bomber when thousands of people were leaving an Ariana concert, the current death toll being 22 dead and 59 injured. The third attack similar to the 1st occurred on 10 pm GMT on Saturday the 3rd of June when a van mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge after which 3 terrorists with long knives began attacking people in the Borough Market. The current death toll is 7 with 48 injured.

These attacks and disturbances could be a prelude to greater disturbances that occur in city of London that could take various forms and hues, impacting the business, political and social climate.

How the events pan out in the future will become clear later this year and in the next two years especially between October 2017 and January 2020.

These disturbances are reflected in the horoscope of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom as well as in that of the Mayor of the city of London. With a 12 noon chart he is currently in Jupiter MD Saturn AD. Theresa May's horoscope becomes vulnerable after September/ October this year.

A study of past events brings into relief certain unmistakable trends that are beginning to take shape.

Hi ,

Thank you for the compliments.

You are right the period leading upto and after September / October 2017 is very bad due to a variety of planetary influences.

It is obvious that Theresa May is at the penultimate stage of her career. This is clearly the end of the road. Saturn in Dhanu Rasi is going to be very very problematic for her.

On 13th July 2016 when David Cameron resigned, Saturn was in Anuradha which is the Janma according to the Navatara scheme. ( his Janma Nakshatra being Pushya). Saturn's transit in the Janma Tara is very volatile in the Navatara scheme.

Jupiter was in the 2nd from his Moon.
He retired from politics when he gave up his parliamentary seat in Witney ending this phase of his political career on 12th September 2016 when Saturn was still in Anuradha and by that time the Jupiter had moved to Kanya in the 3rd from his Janma Rasi

Saturn is currently in Moola Nakshatra Theresa May's Janma according to the Navatara scheme ( her Janma Nakshatra being Magha (most likely considering her temperament & features and being the Nakshatra upto 20.15 on 1.10.56 1he GMT/UTC ).

Jupiter is currently in the 2nd from her Janma Rasi.

Jupiter will be in the 3rd from her Janma Rasi from September 12th to October 11th 2018.

The 2nd to 3rd house transit of Jupiter from the Moon, very often closes a chapter. Theresa May had a similar experience in October 1981 when Jupiter changed signs from Kanya (Virgo) to Thula (Libra) when she lost both her parents in quick succession.

Saturn which is reverting back to Vrischik will again come back to Dhanu and into Moola on October 26th and will aspect her Sun in Kanya.

She also has the same Janma Rasi and Nakshatra as well as Sun position (in Kanya Rasi) as Margaret Thatcher. Margaret Thatcher lost power when Saturn was in Dhanu Rasi aspecting her Sun closely, when Saturn was in her Vipat Tara Uttarashadha. Her Jupiter Dasa had just started. Theresa May's birth time is unavailable and with a 12 noon chart her Jupiter starts in 2020.

So considering all astrological angles as well as political conventional wisdom this is her Waterloo and the question is only when. .

With a deeper study the period could be fine tuned but the clock should begin ticking after September / October 2017 this year.

Best regards
