not happy with current job - best time for options

Dear learned ones,

I am currently employed but not happy because no chances of growth has come my way. If an opportunity comes, it gets killed for some reason or another. I also not having success in finding another job in the IT field - currently working in New York. MY managers keep changing and it is frustrating. I want to leave the company I am with. And if i do so, will it be the same anywhere I go? Or should I forget IT and move into something else entirely or go into business.

Looking to see if I will see any upside in my career now or down the road - or should I look to go into business.

Lagna lord Saturn is debilitated cause delay with promotion but you got the benefit of Sun in own house which helped you professional prospects which is good for your organization capacity. You will need to keep patience in job with next sub dasa of Moon in 7th house of others. Avoid conflicts and take care of job during 2017.

I've been working at the same company for 20+ years and feel I've gone in circles when everyone else has moved on. Am not looking for a much increase in salary or anything but a change that would rejuvenate me - that's all.

Please advise when or what time period is the sub data of Moon in 7th house of others.

After one year there will be gradual improvement for job, home and property. You can also get opportunity to do own ventures or business during 2018.

I read that Saturn transit into Sagittarius starts on January 26th 2017 and is expected to complete transition in 2.5 years, with retrograde to Scorpio during June to October of 2017.

I'm restarting an old thread from November 2016 so you have the history. I was recently let go from my employment of 20+ years on 27 Feb 2017. Granted I was given a severance pay, I still need to look for a job. Can you please advise how my prospects look to find a new job? Am I still affected by the Saturn transit?

If birth details are correct, you have started Rahu mahadasha in Sept. 2017, it will last for next 18 years. Rahu is in lagna in aquarius, a house he co-lords with lagnesh Shani. Problem is that lagnesh is debilitated and retrograde in 3rd house, likely expands its malefic nature. Debilitated malefic in upachaya house (3, 6, 10, 11) can lead to rajayoga, but doubtful if that applies to lagna lord.

Here rahu will emulate Shani in all respects, so this mahadasha is going to be quite stressful, and the first antara of rahu has already shown its effects. Nakshatra of rahu is also the aggressive 'Purvabhadrapada', ruled by Jupiter. Even more care will be needed when Rahu-Shani starts in Oct. 2022 due to Shani being so weak. Better if you do some rahu shanti puja, if the priest and facilities are available nearby. You can also chant rahu beej mantra but be aware that Rahu keeps changing its nature always, its like a chameleon. So you must also keep changing (upgrading) the remedies from time to time, depending on how bad Rahu MD gets in next 5-10 years. Second half of MD will be good when Rahu has calmed down a bit.

You can keep looking for job as some opportunities would come from May onwards. Short travels, some business opportunity is also possible.
