could I possibly choose a better chart/destiny for my child?

hello everybody!!

my son was about to be born. I had the option to choose from a range of 6-7 days from oct. 22-oct. 28, 2004. I made charts for each day for every 1-1.5 hr i;e each time the asc. changes. However the planets were posited throughout the period in following rashis--

Sun,ME,Ket.--Libra( Sun neech, ME and KE combust)

VE,MA,JU--Virgo( VE neech)

SA--Cancer

RA--Aries

Moon--Pisces

Therefore I had the only option to choose the Asc. and the lordship of these planet/rashis in the chart. My sole criterion for choosing the time was the position of Lagnesh, the 9th and 10th lord.

For Aries asc. Virgo would fall in 6th house which meant that MA, the lagnesh would fall in 6th. Lord of 9th(and of 12th), JU would also fall in 6th though lord of 10th, Sa would fall in 4th in cancer.--Bad chart

For Taurus Asc. again lagnesh(and lord of 6th house), VE(neech), would be in 6th and 9th & 10thlord Sa would be in 3rd house--Bad chart

For Gemini Asc. Lagnesh ME would fall in the 5th(good) but 9th lord SA would be in 2nd house and 10th lord JU would suffer from Kendradhipati dosha being lord of 7th and 10th and posited in 4th.-- Not a good chart

For Cancer Asc. lagnesh Moon would fall in 9th(good), but 9th (and 6th) lord JU and 10th lord MA would fall in 3rd house.

For Leo Asc. again neech SU would fall in 3rd house whereas 9th lord, MA and 10th & 3rd lord ,VE would fall in 2nd house--bad chart.

For Virgo Asc. lagnesh and 10th lord, ME would fall in 2nd house and 2nd &9th lord would fall in lagna--not a very good chart.

For Libra Asc. lagnesh & 8th lord, VE would fall in 12th house, the 9th lord and 12th lord would be in lagna whereas 10th lord in 6th--bad chart

For Sco. Asc. lagnesh and 6th lord, MA would be in 11th while 9th lord, Mo in 5th(good) and 10th lord Sa in 12th--bad chart

For Sagg. Asc. lagnesh and 4th lord, JU would be in 10th (very good) but 9th lord SU and 10th lord ME are in 11th--nice chart

For Cap. Asc. Lagnesh SA is in the 7th house(directional strength), 9th & 6th lord in 10th and 10th and 5th lord in 9th( Dharmakarmadhipati Yoga)--Best chart acc. to me.

For Aqu. Asc. lagnesh in 6th , 4th&9th lord VE and 10th &3rd lord MA in 8th house--Bad chart

For Pisces Asc. lagnesh and 10th lord JU as well as 9th & 2nd lord MA in 7th house--nice chart

So as we have seen only three charts were good out of which I preferred the Cap. Asc. the most. Therefore i went for ceasarion delivery on DOB--25-10-2004, TOB-12:53 PM, POB--Dehradun. I would like to know whether my decision was right or wrong.

Now for the stengths and defects--

Lagnesh SA is vargottam in rashi and navamsa. RA in Radix in aries in friendly sign but aspects 10th house. Again Ketu is in 10th house though in a friendly sign. Presence of RA and KE(combust) in 4th and 10th are greatest defects but in navamsa both of them are exalted. would that lessen their bad influence or in other words be beneficial?? ME in 10th is combust but usually it is said that it is free from combustion. Is it True? VE is neech but its Depositer ME is in a friendly house in kendra and also VE is conjuct with JU the lord of its exaltation sign. Would that cause VE's neechbhanga?? Further SU as the lord of 8th is neech. in 10th . Is that a better condition or worse?

pls enlighten me on this matter.

I could have chosen the Sag. Asc. or the Pisces Asc. but the lure of the great exchange between 9th and 10th house and strong lagnesh prevented me from doing so. Moreover the MD of JU would never come in my son's life hence the Sagg. or Pisces Asc. could not fully produce its effects.

please enlighten me whether i have rightfully chosen the destiny of my child.

This is really very intersting thread. Is it possible to really help give the child a good natal chart if the delivery is to planned in advance?

If so then can the gurujans advice about what to look for basically as it is impossible to have all positives.. so what would be the catches.

Birth horoscope is not the only horoscope the classical texts refer to garbhadhan time (time when the soul enters within the mother's womb,life begins from there.

In this age, when most of the doctors promote caesarean section for birth, many parents do this. I have seen time selection for the birth almost 2 decades ago within my family circle.

Experienced astrologers suggest a good time devoid of any harmful panchanga yogas, but as far as I know, the only thing they look for is a good nakshatra. Not choosing the AC and whole chart. In fact, most of the astrologers just take the rasi [b]nakshatra [/b] and give the native's attitude and most predictions of their life with deadly accuracy. May be because it is believed irrespective of any hardships in life, a good attitude will help the native tide over them (my guess).

I really doubt if it is as simple as "we choosing the destiny of the child" - that sounds like an oxymoron. Destiny means what is destined - we should not be able choose it, going by any logic.

I agree with Satyaji about destiny being destiny. Also also what revribhavji said crossed my mind that the destiny might also be from the time of the start of life as that is not in control. but then why are natal charts made depending on birth time.

and most of the times they are accurate so i guess selecting time for C section operation by mothers can affect the chil'd destiny to some extent.

Again only Rashi and nakshatra decision is a surprise to me .. I thought that ascendent and some other lethal combinations reducing life span and health were to be checked too.....

These things are happening for some years,few medical professionals are deliberately doing cesarean operations.
I have already replied in the matter,kinldy refer to my ealier posts,I would add to that again that nobody is empowered to decide one's destiny merely on the basis of what one thinks a better time.
When lord Ram's time for coronation as the successor to king of Ayodhya was determined as auspicious muhurta by the ancient astrologers,who were having more deep rooted knowledge than us,what happened actually was that at that time his father,the king had to order him to go to forest instead.
