Jupiter's aspect

I was going through this article:

Under the 'saving factors' section, it says Jupiter aspecting Moon is a saving factor. My question is for a Virgo Ascendant, Ju makes a Kendra-Adhipati Dosha. So does it behave like FM planet or aspects are always positive?

Also say if Jupiter is FM for anyone's chart and by its 5th or 9th aspect to the Moon can it affect the Moon negatively?

Jupiter is inherently a positive planet and wherever he aspects he tends to shower his light of optimism and hope onto that house/planet. Jupiter as a Funtional Malefic is troublesome especially if it's also maraka/combusted/vargotamma, but his aspects would still continue being the saving grace. Jupiters aspects are like blessings of God and his aspects on certain houses indicates credits from past life as Purva-Punya.

I guess that makes my FM Jupiter which is Combust, in Abhyukt Moola Gandanta and a Rudra even more troublesome for me in 8th House.
Can you please clarify on Kendra-Adhipati Dosha Jupiter is same as Functional Malefic Jupiter for Virgo Asc?

Kendra Adhipati Dosha on Jupiter occurs if he happens to rule the kendra houses and at the same time is not the lagna lord. This rule applies to Jupiter in case of both Gemini and Virgo ascendants, however if Jupiter is in his own sign forming Hamasa yoga, kendradhipati dosha gets nullified to a great extend. Jupiter in that case would have to be completely free from malefic influences on it. Jupiter on the other hand is a functional malefic for Virgo ascendant because he is inimical to the lagna Lord, has kendradhipati dosha and rules the 7th house from lagna thereby making him both the bhadakesh as well as a maraka graha.
