Can a Bhadkesh be a Yogakaraka at the same time

I heard for Leo lagna, Mars lord of 9th house Aries is a bhadkesh. But at the same time it is also regarded as a Yogakaraka being the lord of 9th and 4th house. So how to study its placement in particular if its exalted in 6th house Capricorn for Leo lagna.

Bhadakesh in Vedic astrology is quite a tricky concept and it's quite difficult to pinpoint it's results on a particular chart.

For Leo ascendant, Mars rules the 4th house and the 9th house while the latter is the bhadakasthana. Mars in 6th house aspects the 9th house thereby making it strong. If other positions in chart supports this position can indicate that the father is either a lawyer, doctor, police/military personnel or works in the pharmaceutical industry. The Bhadakesh usually doesn't do too bad if it's exalted or in its own sign however in your case it's placed in a dusthastahana and that's the primary cause of concern. On a positive side it can give you a strong personality and enemies or anyone whom you come in contact with gets the first physiological impression of you being more powerful than them. On the flip side, it can show that you get into frequent arguments with your parents, make you prone to accidents, debts. But since it's also the 9th lord in 6th you're lucky enough to easily come out of them. In my humble opinion, Bhadakesh in 6th house can simply show you feel restricted to achieve certain things in life due to your colleagues, uncles or your enemies.

Thanks for your reply. I agree with the argument thing.
My Lagna is Leo. My Mars is exalted in my 6thH, it is getting an aspect from Sat which is sitting in my 4thH, and from Moon which is sitting in my 12thH. You think this is good placement in term of luck in profession and stuff.

Also, Mars is my darakaraka, being in 6thH can give trouble to marriage affairs.?

---it's important to understand a couple of things here_

1) that Badhakeh doesn't get activated unless it's associated with an evil house or lord such as 6th, 8th or 7th ( 7th association with badhakesh is evil)


and with these associations badhakesh creates hurdles, diseases, troubles largely through impact/ influence of evil spirits i.e abhichaar in various forms.

2) we all know YK is a well-doer....it shows the right way to the native and pulls out all reserve resources and blessings in the chart to support the native in really difficult / troubled times.

the badhakesh and YK work mutually exclusive
i.e at a given time if Badhakesh is associate with an evil lord and activate it will cause hurt / troubles in one form or the other.

at the same time in its YK mode it will do good to the native at the same time in the same problem or another problem area of life

I think you were born on 29/30 Sep 1986.

Saturn in 4th house is in parivartana yoga with Mars. This can indicate you could have chronic health issues related to chest/lungs or your mother faces some illness or there could be legal disputes with maternal uncles/parents regarding land/property. But since 6th Lord is placed 11 places from itself, ultimately you gain from it. This combination also gives you a can do spirit in your workspace. This also shows your mother would have a prominent say in your marriage. Moon in 12th house shows you have good intuitive capabilities and with Mars aspecting it gives you an active/sharp mind.

Your 10th Lord is Venus is well placed in 3rd house in own sign and is great for career in Media, Entertainment, marketing etc or self-owned business.

As far as marriage goes I'd say stick to the basics that is Venus, 7th house/7th Lord and D9 chart for men. Jupiter being 8th Lord in 7th shows there will be major transformation in your life after your marriage. I never had the experience of making prediction using jaimini Karakas so I'd suggest you to create a specific thread for it and hopefully someone experienced in that area would give you a detailed insight.

Don't worry, if your Mars is exalted, or in own sign in D9 chart it won't be debilitated for life and after 28th year you would start adjusting to its frequency. Also if moon is exalted in your chart Mars can give good results.

For Leo ascendant, Mars in 12th can give short tempered nature. Since Mars aspects 7th house it can give issues in the marriage. Debilitated Mars can also give low Bp issues.Since Mars rules your 9th house it shows you find your luck in foreign lands. Since 9th house also rules law, you need to be extra cautious not to break the law or it could land you in trouble.
The best part about Mars in cancer is their ability to not give up easily until they achieve their goal. Which is much better than its placement in other signs.

Remember don't judge your chart from a single placement of a planet, things would be much better if let's say Jupiter aspects Mars in your chart.
