Is foreign settlement indicated???

Request the forum Astrologers to Kindly guide me if foreign settlement is indicated in my son's horoscope. Currently he lives abroad. Need guidance to make choices regarding his higher education and where he may pursue higher education and settle down. Does Ninth Lord in Twelfth house indicate foreign settlement?

Higher education in foreign land is seen from placement of 9th lord in 12th house.

Your Son is running major period of Jupiter till 2027 and Jupiter is karka of education. Jupiter in Nakshatra of Rahu, karka of foreign lands and in sub of 3rd & 12th lord Venus. All factors highly indicates education in foreign land. Moreover, strong placement of Rahu in 10th house, which is 11th from 12th, so gains are seen from foreign. Placement of Ketu in 4th house also signify separation from homeland, So there are good chances of foreign settlement.

Jupiter is placed in 4th house, so return is also seen to birthplace during this period. Periods of Jupiter,Venus, Ketu and Moon will have good time in foreign land.

As a father I can understand your curiousness about your Son's future and career. As I said your Son is running time period of karka of education, So he will attain good education during this time and foreign education would help him more to make good career and gains. Rahu is placed in very strong postilion in his birth chart, he will get success in whatever field of education he moves forward.

Hello -

I would agree with what has been said re: higher education in a foreign country. The chart does promise that. As far as settling abroad, it appears to be weak. Settlement also depends on which country or region he's trying for.

The next MD approx. 11 years from now, is of Saturn, exchanging places with Jupiter (4L in 5H, 5L in 4H). It will bring him back to the home country i.e. native place or birth. Financially he will do well regardless of where he settles.

Thanks for your kind reply. The person is staying in Singapore since September 2006. He wants to qualify as a Medical doctor. He wants to settle down in the US after his studies. Having lived away from his birth place for almost 9 years he is not willing to settle permanently in India. Also he has no interest to stay in his current country in future.

His first travel abroad has been in the Rahu -Venus - saturn period. As parents living away from India we want to make decisions about higher education and places suited for him to settle down.
