Hi,
I have recently given the final rounds of interviews for full time MBA from a A+ category institute. I was unsure about getting the interview call but somehow I did. I had not prepared for CAT at all and just gave the exam casually. My interviews went off pretty well but I did not receive the spot admission offer which they offer to outstanding candidates.Now I have to wait till September first week for the final merit list. I just want to know if I stand a chance to realize my dream of getting a top notch MBA degree.

Hi, cracking competitive exams at pg level needs strong 9th house . So Jupiter in your chart is averagely placed. But Yogakaraka mars is strong , so chances are there that it could go either way .

Karthik ji, I hope you don't mind me asking a general yet relevant question.

Are all post-grad level exams seen from the 9th house? Suppose certain pg programs aren't based on higher thinking or thesis projects. For instance, like Masters in Accounting, which involves finance courses and an internship. Would such programs also be seen from the 9th house? Or could they be seen from 5th house as well, as they are more related to basic college material despite being pg?

Dropping my two cents. From what I understand, education is primarily seen from 4H. This, they say is primary education. Some believe that it's the 5H though. 5H is for competitions and secondary house of education amongst other things while 9H is analysed for higher levels of education. Masters,PhD kind. This is my understanding and it may not be completely accurate.

As for subjects, they've to do more with planets. Like Mercury for accounts and commerce maths amongst other things. Mercury, though, is related to calculations and any connection with Mars or Ketu may even gear the native towards engineering. Perhaps something to do with computers.

Internships and jobs are basically work or service. Seen primarily from 6H. The natural karaka is Saturn if I'm not mistaken.

tandav, generally we see 9th house for pg programs. But it is not that necessary/compulsion especially if jupiter or mercury is strong or yogakaraka can be strong , also a good dasha can help in completing in pg programs.

Yes 5th of mind is important but not for higher education. If 5th house or its lord is Jupiter or mercury and is Strong then pg education can be accomplished.

But a strong 9th house or its lord can give extraordinary pg education like mtech in iit, mba from iim etc.

Just for the sake of information, I have already done my PG in communications from the best C school in the country (2009-10) and I am comfortably placed in a reputed PSU through a campus placement I got from my PG college. However, I always wanted to do MBA from a top college and this opportunity happened out of the blue.I have done B.Tech at graduation level. That again was by clearing the engineering CET in June 2002. It also happened during Ketu-Jupiter dasha and I am currently running Venus-Jupiter. Jupiter was transiting through cancer back then as well.
